      So, we dragged the geriatric bodies (and luggage) up the hill, up an un-lit flight of stairs (a blown light globe? economising on power?) and found our room.

      First thing to hit us was the stink of a toilet which not only had not been cleaned but had not even been flushed. A previous occupant’s crap was NOT what we needed at that time!

      Holy shit.

        I had the same experience only it was ground floor room 5 or similar. (You enter and the 1 or the 2 room on g floor right hand side)
        TV remote missing
        Bed not made
        Stinky Poopie in toilet lol
        The mattress was sunken from one side.

        Got my refund right there and then as the manager saw the condition and couldn't argue.
        She was helpful in the refund process though.

        Never Again.

    At $45 a night its a bargain

    Ok the reviews arent great but the price is

    Remember with reviews they are overly biased either to good or to bad

    Still worth giving a go at the price

      Right-eee-oh then. So you have some overly positive ones to balance out the "to bad"(sic) ones. No? Really none huh? Awww gee.
      Based on the consistent statements in the reviews, spaced out over several years, I believe them. I believe in this case it really is a broken down, disgusting, floating-turd disease pit. It sounds like it should be bathed in cleansing fire.
      Probably should call the health dept based on the reviews.
      Negging because eeeet eees a feeeeelthy pit.

    You're offering 10% off bistro dining, and 2 drinks vouchers…

    The food was DISGUSTING over cooked frozen vegtables, over cooked steak half a spoon of gravy, after bringing it to the managers attention we were told there was nothing he could do about it, and the beer taste like it had dirt in it… maybe due to dirty lines. WOULDNT RECOMMEND EATING HERE!!!!!!

    And…

    Schnitzels looked and tasted like they had been in the bain marie for 3 weeks and re-fried 5 times - extremely dry and shrivelled. Steak was well overcooked. Faye (taking our order) had no idea how to operate the till, and was as rough as they come out in the burbs! Dinner sat like a brick in our stomachs all night, and both my kids had upset tummies in the morning.

    Firstly, neg just for taking fellow forum members for fools who don't do their basic homework.

    Secondly, thank you for posting this bargain. I say bargain as the time spent reading the post and subsequent reviews is insignificant in comparison to the hours of joy i will obtain from repeating said reviews at work t̶o̶m̶o̶r̶r̶o̶w̶ today, my family BBQ on the weekend and any social occasion within the foreseeable future.
