      • This deal isn't showing for me on the front page at all, just checked. No highlighted deal whatsoever. I only found it by searching for Eneloops because I posted the Eneloops deal (which promptly got deleted as a dupe). But there's genuinely no sign of this deal of the front page for me.

        • You may have disabled it in your account settings.

Specifically, My Account - Edit - Deals - Do not show highlighted deals

        • sparkles - try log out first. As neil said, you could have changed something in your settings. It's the first deal I see on the website.

Chromecast was good buying, finally decided to buy one with all my referral credit. Thanks guys :)

Same! Snagged one for $10.99 with $20 credit and BDAY coupon. Cheers OzB!

    • I would get it if I had $10 credit to use with the $8 coupon. if anyone wants a referal that would be great :P

      • +3

Use a random referral from the grey box near the top of the page. I received two referrals today, thank you mystery people!

        • Nice one, didn't even have my code in there, just added it now. If anyone is reading and can use it, would be greatly appreciated =)

      • you wont get credit until after your first purchase

        • Buy something cheap (if any left with "free delivery") first.

    CHROMECAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAAAAAA!!!!

  • I like!

  • +1

was going to get a Chromecast, but the coupon doesn't work anymore, so, meh

  • +1

I got a Chromecast! Iview, SBS and AnimeLab watching stick is incoming. It's taken years, but I think Catch's servers have caught up to these types of events. (About Time!) I could sign up and process the order without it timing out first time and also having enough stock with Dick Smith involved in the tech offers to not have them run out in 5 mins.

  • Bought a Chromecast, not sure if it's better than the HDMI cable already connected to the TV, but for that price, why not

  • Got 16 x eneloops for -4c aka free!! Good deal

  • I don't feel bad missing out on the chromecast, managed to pick up fire tv stick for $19. :)

    • how so?

      • try Amazon Prime for free and you can buy it for $19

not sure when it ends though.

        • yeah but you cant get it shipped to an oz addrress

  • +1

Finally came around to buying my chromecast! Exciting stuff $30.99 after coupon. Too bad missed out on eneloops :(

    • Mine went during the gap of checking out, 1st the AA then the AAA's arrgh.

  • How long until i receive the 10$ referral ?

  • +2

    $31 Chromecast! Epic!

  • How to have my refer code in the random list?

    • Here's the link to your referral page where you can add your code in.

      • Comes up with 403 Access Denied

        • +1

The link is not meant for you.

        • Yeah that's lnq's link with his/her user ID so only he/she will be able to access it.
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/user/XXXXX/edit/referrals

To access yours, go to your user profile: My Account > edit > referrals

        • @JSQUARED: cheers. Was wondering the same

        • @JSQUARED: Thanks!

      • I was just looking for that. The page comes up as 403 Access Denied

        • +1

Nevermind you can access it through My Account -> Settings -> Referrals

        • @mtran0708: Just did it before reading your comment. thanks

      • Thank you. I have mine listed.

  • +1

Got a Google Chromecast for $20.99 (after $8 BDAY coupon + $10 store credit). The free shipping helped as well. :)

    • I was just looking at it i could of got the same if i didnt go all ozbargain and order alot of eneloops lol oh well i already have a chromecast so no use really.

  • -4

If i keep making referals and then keep buying the skyrims for free using coupon, can i get unlimited credits?

    • You can't cause code isn't valid for new users.

      • -4

ive done it twice and its worked tho. i just had to wait 5 mins for the credit to apply

  • +1

Used my 36 dollar store credit to buy chrome cast. But I was unable to apply the birthday code? Anyone experienced the same?

    • I just bought mine with the BDAY coupon. How come it didn't for you? Strange..

      • just curious, how many times have you tried the code?

        • My first try.. :)

        • @robinsmca: my comment was meant to revivor. COTD has fixed the loophole and now it allow only one tries.

        • I tried it only the one time and it accepted it.

      • After using the store credit, amount payable was just 2.99 which is less than Bday code's value (8). Does that make sense ?

    • Were you a Catch customer before October 25? Should work…

  • Would totally buy a Chromecast if I had some referral credit to bring the price down even further :)

    • You receive the $10 referal credit after your first purchase, your first purchase could be a $2.99 game :)

      • +1

        Doesn't Work…

      • Havent received credit after 20 minutes. Referred a friend and he purchased skyrim. No credit in either account unfortunately.

        • Same here. COTD Rep are you able to look into this issue please?

        • It take a while, i got mine after 30 minutes. Be patient.

      • Just spoke to him and he got the credit lol, so annoying that I didnt

        • It's not instant, can take a moment to arrive.

        • @CatchoftheDay: Is it weird he got the credit straight away but i am still waiting? Or is that normal

        • @CatchoftheDay:

It's been almost two hours since I purchased two packs of Eneloops and I still haven't received the $10 credit.

  • Why none of the LED Lenser flashlights spec matches to the vendor web-site information?

    • because they're crap

    • Which vendor product are you comparing it to?

EDIT: there's also a nice warning if you check their official Australian distributor web-site.

  • Is the free delivery threshold based on the subtotal? (i.e. if the discount code brings the total below $50, will shipping still be free?)

    • You should be able to see all possible discounts in cart before hitting purchase.

      • Just a little worried that if I try out the BDAY code, it won't let me use it when I actually go to purchase.

  • +1

Awesome price for the Chromecast, just got one thanks!

  • Well that's crap…I wanted it for the 360 not the One….grrrrr

  • I can't seem to change my shipping address after placing an order - any help rep? There is no "Edit Address" next to "Download Invoice".

  • Thanks OP

    Chromecast for $30.99 delivered

  • Thanks OP, got Chromecast!

  • Rep with the chrome cast it says:

It must not be delivered to a PO Box.

Is Australia post parcel locker ok?

    • I think someone needs to be there to sign it so locker won't work..

    • I honestly don't know sorry! Please shoot your question over to the Help Centre and they'll help you out: https://helpcentre.catchoftheday.com.au/hc/en-us

    • Huh I used PO box no worries. Do they still use AusPost or couriers now? Been years since I've ordered anything.

    • Yes, it WILL work because I have many pacels shipped to a Parcel locker near my work. No need to sign.

      • You are right, I put in a request to send it to another address.. they replied said no problems but sent it to the parcel locker anyway (which I prefer).

  • My first Chromecast and for $30.99 too. SO what does this bad boy do? I just keep seeing it on OzBargain. How long do you think the delivery for this thing will be? Would rather the postman not leave it by my door whilst it rains.

  • Can't see where to put the code in. I'm at the pay securely now button and haven't been able to get the BDAY discount.

    • "Have a coupon code?"

      • lol, I see it, and I have used a coupon code at cotd before. You can whack me on the back of the head now.

        • +1

hah. happens to the best of us

  • +1
    • man, ran out of BDAY coupon codes :/

    • +1

Code was no longer working but the price is still the best I have seen for this model so bought one, used the code for some Enloops earlier :)
Cheers for the heads up, looks like they may be popular the sever was showing signs of stress.

      • I think a new model is coming up

        • A new model is just out the Voyager but it will most likely be closer to $300 aud as the base version is $219 usd without ad support in America.

        • @geebee: thanks. Didn't realize it's already out in the US

  • +1

Umm…is it just me or the Samsonite suitcase sets are empty?
    https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/42578/

    • Not just you. Some thing here.

    • it's not just you.

    • Seems ok now.

    • Seems okay for us - but do let us know if you see any further quirks.

  • No samsonite?

  • Yamaha HTR-4066 5.1 Channel Network AV Receiver $279 Just popped up.

    • Ouch, just paid $389 for one two weeks ago, although that came with a wireless dongle. This is essentially the same as the rx-v475, originally came with speakers, this is without speakers of course. Great buy!

  • Snagged my first Eneloops today. Being apart of OzBargain I'm sure there will be many more to come!
