I thought Gearbest were not allowed on this site anymore as they rarely send the stock. I had terrible experience with them, had to put a paypal dispute to get my money back

    • +1

Gearbest are allowed again. Have done everything they can possibly do to win back ozbargainers. Give them a break.

When did you order from them?

    • +1

Hi flocof I understand that we have some issues with gearbest before regarding delivery. Its all been sorted out. But if still you have any issue I am sure the gearbest rep will resolve that.

      • +2

second that, their rep very helpful.

        • +1

Yes, I ordered the same charger when it first came out. But soon decided to cancel the order. I got my money back in a week, no questions asked. Rep was very helpful.

          I recommend trying them again.

  • Is this good price?

  • I want to get one, but is the shipping time of 3-5 days accurate? Previous deals have taken weeks to arrive. Can a rep confirm the 3-5 day shipping time?

    • That is 3-5 days before it hits the postman,- not 3-5 days to get to you. It will still take weeks.

      • Their shipping times are 5-11 days to AUS, wonder if its accurate.

        • nah, 3 weeks at least, i'm still waiting for their dash cam over 3 weeks already.

        • +1

I also ordered the dashcam that was a recently listed on Ozbargain.
          Ordered: 26/09
          Shipped: 30/09
          It has yet to arrive…

I ordered a La Crosse charger from Amazon.com. It took approx 10 days to arrive.

        • @lgacb08: mine too taking ages to arrive.

  • Just spoke to rep, it takes 10-25 days after they ship. Also, I can not deselect tracking ($1.99) on the order page. I think it is $39.99 + $1.99 delivered.

    • Hi prince22,
$39.99 include tracking number, you don't need to pay additional tracking number fee.
      Thanks.

      • Hi rep, I've been charged $1.99 for tracking on top of $39.99. Would you kindly refund me the tracking fee. I've sent you a message with my order number.

      • Rep, I tried to order, and I cannot deselect tracking number fee. It said "You will need to pay for a Tracking number when ordering batteries".
Well, this is battery charger and not a battery.
Can you take a look at your system and correct it please?

      • +1

          Hi Karen

can we get this with an AU/CN plug ?
          sorry about the cross post.

        • Thanks for the prompt action, Karen.

  • There is also a Opus BM-100 (~$20.80 AUD) if you are only looking to charge AA/AAA eneloops (mentioned before by Raven2000):
    http://www.gearbest.com/bm%5E%5E100-_gear/
    …and the relevant review:

  • Wish I'd bought this instead of the Nitecore D4, which is too brain dead to simply integrate the charging current and read out the mAh input to the batteries. Sounds like this has a few quirks, but overall the reviews seem good.

    I'm tempted…

    Hey Rep

can we get this with an AU (or CN) plug ? US and EU are no good for us here.

    • Hi effgee,
We really want offer OZB members AU plug, But the Opus manufacture doesn't offer the AU (or CN) plug, we can send the AU adapter free in your order.

      • OK, thanks.

I also got force-charged the $1.99 tracking fee.
Could you please arrange that to be refuned ?

        thanks again

        • Sorry for delay reply, Please pm me order number, we will arrange soon.

  • Baught one of these from the previous groupbuy (v2.0 version)
AU adapter is thrown in free.

Charger itself is great, however I don't think that internal switch works (well at least for me it didnt do anything)

Other then that I have nothing to say other then the voltage readout on my version was a bit off but the actual voltage when measure by DMM was pretty close to 4.2V. Also the fan is loud as hell.

I found a good alternative to this (and in similar price bracket, shipped) will be Turnigy Accucel 6/imax b6/hobbyking eco6, however they will require you to buy a seperate power adapter (and battery holders/magnets if you need). My Opus has been gathering dust after I received my Accucel 6 :P

TLDR; Opus BT-C3100 good for the lazy.

  • how does this compare to http://www.amazon.com/La-Crosse-Technology-Battery-Charger/d…

similar price, this seems to have more functions, but the la crosse is so well reviewed

    • LaCrosse doesn't do LiIon, only NiMh NiCd.

  • ok. I just had what I could call the weirdest experience of my online shopping life.
    I ordered this item twice - EXCEPT I DIDN'T!
I was considering a purchase and had it in my cart - like others above I couldn't lose the $1.99 tracking fee - I read about it on ozbargain and went back - the page seemed to auto-reload. BOOM! 2 emails with confirmed orders - both for $41.98.
The weird part? I NEVER entered my credit card - I didn't provide credit card details! - I never pay direct by paypal (always by credit card via paypal) - i sit here in shock. best explanation is that Id logged today into paypal. Id closed the session but it was still active? I am not sure - does gearbest maybe store your credit card details from order to order. I bought a few of those Multi-function Outdoor Knife Saber Card Multi Tool for Camping, Hiking etc. that monty.melb had posted.
    I've written a ticket. I remain shocked.

  • Hi Rep, any ffurther discounts on BM 100 or C2000.

    Thanks
