Thanks Trent, Awesome posts, I am loving it

    • Lots this morning :)

  • (refreshes page) ah right!

  • DSE Hourly deal, no more $10 gift cards.
    RIP :(

    • +1

They were a royal PITA. They stuffed nearly every order and ended up send two of mine as physical cards express courier. Took about five emails and long waits on the phone. Badly managed and a waste of resources probably cost them ~$20 per card in wages and couriers.

      • I got 5 of them all without 'scamming' the system and while some took a while to come through, I got my copy of GTAV pre-ordered ($59) for only $35 out of pocket.

  • I wonder how much that TomTom Via 280 will be…

    • +1

Yeah I will chuck it in when it's live :)

  • $10 keyboard/mouse for Kris Kringle, and one to spare, cheers OP

    • Hell yeah! I'd be happy to get one of those

  • +2

Thanks Trent for the good work. Have a great day.

just a heads up, the kaiser bass keyboard (from my experience) is rubbish.
bought just the keyboard a while back for 20 bucks, and the bluetooth doesn't even get a meter of range line of sight. thought it was just the adapter, so tried another one; same thing. when it did magically work, it was way too laggy to use.

for 10 bucks, meh. guess the mouse might be alright…

    • +4

      Thanks, saved $10!

    • cheap gift for someone else!

    • Is a USB dongle included?

      • should be. useless product with out it.

        • its actually a bluetooth 2.0 enabled device so i dont think there will be any usb dongle…plus it says work with ipad and ps3 etc.

        • +1

@climaxpower: my bad. thanks for clarifying

        • @altomic:
no prbs…10 bucks seems to be a good price for a bluetooth keyboard set so i gave it a go…

        • Actually the BT dongle/adaptor is included. Stated here.

Grabbed 2 sets for $12 del. (using 2x $5 for 10 DSE eGC's). Can finally make use of my hoard of Eneloops!

    • So it's actually a $10 Bluetooth dongle then.

  • How are these Fujitsu AAAs?

    • Because they're not Panasonic AA's?

    • Yes, seriously, where are these battery made and what is the expiry date? Can someone confirm?

      • +3

I got some of the AA ones from the last deal a couple days ago (40 for $9). They have an expiry of 2019. I'd expect them to be decently good - and definitely for this price!

      • Made in Indonesia.

Source, owner of the 4*10 pk.

  • Saved mine too $10. Thank you. Mister

  • AAA looks like they are $6 delivery.

    • Just tried it and says $2 for me

    • $2 Delivery On ALL Orders Or FREE Pick Up
I think if you order between 13.00-17.00pm….for the Fujitsu battery deal

      • Batteries dont look like you can click and collect them

    • Nah that's expensive compared to recent deals

  • Are these deals online only or in store as well?

    • Online Only

  • Any feedback on the KB and mouse?

    • Read above, one guy said he didn't have much luck with it, but for $10 I'm going to try myself

      • Hmmn yes i missed that one … guess you an always give it to someone you don't like if its as bad as he states.

      • Same here. im going to try myself as well for $10

      • Well, for that price, I've got a set as well.

  • 1-5PMFujitsu Alkaline Battery AAA 4pk $0.49 Was $5.98(Limit of 500)

I have had a look just last night at them and they were 1.99 and not $5.98 as they are now.

    • Like any product on their site price fluctuates daily, I can only show what price they have on the site currently

  • I do not see DSE on the Start Here site.

    • Same. I am sure it used to be.

  • Did anyone try to place the order for AAA Battery ?
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/fujitsu-alkaline-battery-aaa-4pk…

  • Is the Tandy micro SD reliable compared to Samsung or others?

    • Just a couple of bucks difference you better off get a Samsung from ShoppingExpress.

    • it was sold on COTD during their one day sales. Quite good speeds and reliability at least according to the people on here that bought them.

But a lot of people managed to snag them for $7, this is $17 including postage.

  • how long do these batteries last in storage?

    • Think someone said 2019 is the expiry

  • Just ordered some Fuji batteries then. No problemo

  • AAA Fujitsu batteries out of stock

Really Trent, put the code in without any credit, any mention of what it's for, nothing??

      • You don't need to bold your comment! Once I realised it was done it was Removed so keep calm, the code doesn't work on the keyboard :)

  • Cheers, got the Bluetooth keyboard/mouse.

  • sif no numpad on the kb :(

  • website for me says "Temporarily out of stock" for keyboard :(

    • Yeah out of stock as of this morning

    • Took my order and money. Now claiming it's on back-order. No email, no update.

Sounds like a screw up to me.

  • got keyboard delivered today. fast

  • The bluetooth keyboard and mouse are horrible. Keyboard keeps turning itself off, and the mouse is horrendously inaccurate and wobbly.

    • wow sounds very average

    • its actually quite decent for mine. Believe it or not im comming from a Razer Orochi. I think my orochi is faulty as that mouse keeps on jumping all over my screen. This doesnt happen on the kaiser mouse i just brought

  • picked up one of these im happy with the wireless quality of the mouse and kb. I got a question though
is there any way to assign a key/stroke to the mouse 4 and 5 buttons on the side of the mouse ?

    • +1

I use X-Mouse Button Control by HighRez on Windows systems.

      • Thc leo65536 ill check it out

  • Initially the mouse got disconnected frequently within a minute and had trouble reconnecting.
By disabling "USB selective suspend" on a Windows PC there was some improvement with the included dongle.
However the mouse was still problematic with another Bluetooth dongle using the same Cambridge Silicon Radio IC but different revision.

The keyboard usually takes more than 15 seconds to wake up from Windows's system-wide deep sleep/suspension.
