    Just a heads up - my card hasn't arrived and the app wouldn't scan in store so the cashier used their own scan sheet. She said they have been having issues so use their own bar-code. Consequently I can go back again and buy (the 2 beers) at the 10 per 6 pack price until the card arrives.

      Even if you have your card, you can buy the $10 per 6pk beers anytime you like up until 30/11/2014, with the exception of a limit of 3 purchases per day.

      Also, they can type in your unique card number into their system manually.

          As the coupon you scanned didn't seem to have a barcode (at least not on the front), decided to front up for another sixer of White Rabbit and see what happened when they scanned a 6-pack of Crown Golden Ale as well. And guess what? No charge for the Crown, $10 total for the two.

          Am guessing it only works once per card, not really feeling greedy enough to try for the bottle of wine as well.

          TL,DR: You shouldn't need the freebies coupon itself, just your membership card.

          @dd22qq: Yes, you are right. I claimed my free beer today and found the same. They just scan the Crown Lager 6 pack, then scan the membership card and it discounts it to $0.00.
          Free beer for all :)

    Can anyone give me a hint as to how White Rabbit tastes?
    I've only got to taste James Squire so far, and it's a pretty darn good beer. Fruity tones, full bodied flavour, and a delightful slight bitterness at the end, which is mellowed out by the fruitiness. Only shame is that's it's 0.8 standard drinks.
    Anyway,
    I just plan on doing a bulk buy on the White Rabbit, and I just can't find any reviews. Can anyone help me out?

      The White Rabbit is pretty good! Somewhere between an Australian pale ale an a belgium style, decent amount of flavour without being overpowering. Very drinkable. I prefer it to the Constable (full strength, less fruity/more balanced). Full price White Rabbits are $70 a carton, so definitely worth a try for $10.

    Just got the free beers from Alexandria. They were aware of the promo and there were no problems (even though I had to grab it out of a case because there were none on the shelves).

    They had no White Rabbit left :(

      Yeah, but not at 6 pack prices. Always buy cases.

      And check the Specials with Thirsty Camel Memberships too. They started this subscription service before Dan Murphys, and Ive saved 10$ or more slabs of beer depending on the week.

    Since DMs is owned by Woolworths, it seems a bit excessive to sign up for another card when they already track our information through the Everyday Rewards card. My card will be in the name of John E. Walker, or perhaps Captain Morgan.

      EDR promos are linked to BWS. They don't want to disturb the brand separation.
      They probably make more profit off BWS and hence can afford to pay for EDR promos out of that profit.

    Just an update that Mexican SOL and John Boston "The Point" Pale Ale are the current $10 per 6 pack beers for card holders in December.
