useless in BNE then since delivery seems to be rare unless you are domino's or pizza hut :(

      • I just typed in my suburb in BNE and 30 restaurants deliver. The thing that makes this voucher not as great value is that most restaurants have a minimum delivery amount and have a delivery fee varying from about $5-10. If you can find one that has free delivery then go for it!

  • Will they detect previously delivered addresses, or would it require just a different name/number to use?

    • Limit of 1 voucher redeemable per household • Valid for
delivery only • Valid for restaurants that accept vouchers •
Restricted to new customers/households only • This is an
app only voucher and will not work from a desktop
computer • Available with credit card payment only. Orders
exceeding $15 must pay for meal with credit card (not
Paypal) • You must be 18 years or over to purchase alcohol
products • $15 voucher must be redeemed in one
transaction, any remaining credit will be forfeited • Some
restaurants have a minimum spend. Valid only for
restaurants which accept vouchers • All prices shown on
the Menulog app are in AUD and all transactions will be
billed in AUD • Cannot be combined with any other offer or
      promotion

    • To actually answer your question, why not just use a spouse/family member/friend if you were that concerned? I suppose it would be rather easy for them to say they'd just moved in…

It won't work, I've tried it and it got really complicated. Strictly 1 voucher per household. Also 1 Phone number per account. Once you've ordered from Menulog before, they have your details recorded. I moved home two years ago and they said they have my record ordering from them before.

        • Just add no. before your street number. Or unit/appt if you're in a complex. I just put in my wife's phone number this time.

        • I tried multiple addresses in the same street with different names and numbers and still couldn't get past whatever detection they have in place for previous customers.

        • @roughana:
same, i think perhaps it goes by what ever details you entered first

        • @roughana: I think it might also detect your device. I downloaded the app on my iPhone for the first time. Used the same address I tried on my iPad (which declined) and it worked. Unit "x", no 123 fake st.

  • Will try one today

  • Hey there. Do you get the code to use immediately? If so, that will help sort dinner.

    • For $3 I figure I'd check myself and you do get it straight away.

Menulog have played this trick many times. You will not be able to use voucher if you have ordered thru them before and most people would give their $3 without raising an eye brow. I used to prefer Menulog over the newbies..well!

  • Delivery breaks my brain.

Wait time is often bad-enough, without waiting for your food to be grouped with other 'neighbours'… delivered warm.

  • Thanks OP, I got a whole tandoori chicken deliverd from an Indian restaurant for a total of $7.36. It was the only restaurant on menu log near my place in regional qld.

  • Thanks OP, got Thai Fried Rice for $0.71 Plus $3 for voucher delivered.
