          Hey so I ordered the black bundle ($399) for pickup. Called the store before pick up to ask if they are willing to swap to the white one. They said that its well under cost price and they were not able to do it unless I pay the difference.

          Called other Dicksmith stores to see if they did it but they also said they can't due to the cost price and different product codes. Got different answers from each store.

    New stock for plenty of pick-up locations. Has anyone bought through this before? How accurate is the ETA (of 3 days waiting) for processing the pick up? Reckon there is a chance that the order will be ready by today or tomorrow?

      I got a call from my local store today, five hours (and only two business hours) after placing the order. The console was ready to go, but they were out of stock for the games until later this week.

      I'd say there is a chance, but you shouldn't bank on it.

        So my local store said the same thing :( they have the console but not the games, and the lady just pushed me to call DSE online for check stock availability. I wasn't able to pick up the console and get the game at a later date sadly.

      Yep, but if you order from Woden, the games are on back order and won't be ready until later (this week, according to the phone call I received). Not a problem per se, but something to be aware of.

    Feck. I jumped the gun and ordered online earlier this morning, when there were hardly any pick up locations available. Selected home delivery. It estimated by 29th Dec!

    I don't think you can cancel or modify the order and select pick up instead can you?

      I did the same, I just ordered again with the pick-up and I've sent a message through to Dick Smith Ebay to cancel my original order. Will let you know how it goes.

          So just got off the phone to DSE online support and I could not get an immediate refund. Apparently they will be honouring delivery orders. Ramon the customer service operator said my order is 'ready for collection' (only 3 hours after making the order) so it would mean it's been processed and ready for StarTrack to pick it up. Odd because ETA was after X-Mas just like yours. But I guess it'll be coming this week..

          Customer service did say that the standard procedure at this point is for me to refuse delivery when the post comes and they will take it back to Dick Smith and a refund will be automatically processed at that point.

          Are you saying that DSE online said that they're honoring delivery orders, even when the 10% discount has been applied?

          @davedrastic: I was worried that they would not honour the discount because it was delivery, so I made a second order for pick up which would validate the discount.

          That said, I have gotten a reply from DSE E-Bay team saying my PS4 will indeed be posted out tomorrow morning with the discount applied :)

          So delivery is the way to go if no local stores have stock, which seems to be the case at a lot of places. And like others have said in this thread, if your order went through and your store actually has no stock, you are able to ring up and get a refund on that order (you have to call their online team, not your local store).

          @vcaz: Cool. I'm still a little confused though. My order did go through, paypal took my money, about 90 mins ago, with the 10% and to be delivered (no stock in any of the 10 local stores)- which is great - but why would anyone want a refund?

          I can understand that you wanted a refund as you ordered it twice, but that wouldn't be applicable to any one else would it? Oh (face palm) i've got it now. You mean those people that arranged for click n pick up can now go and cancel and order it via delivery.

          So that means a lot of people here will be getting it via delivery - which means if ebay decides to charge us 10% extra there will be a lot of angry customers.

          i hope ebay doesn't get flooded with the games. I'm listing them straight away and will do my best to pick up used copies of Killzone and Wolfenstein (if it's cheap enough).

          I already have Plants Vs Zombies via EAs recent free giveaway. I have Trials Fusion via a PS+ error - I think it's the full game and not a demo, forgot to check the forum. Injustice via PS+ December subscription and will have First Light via PS+ January subscription.

          Now should I put the PS4 in the lounge and the PS3 in the bedroom, or the other way around. PS3 has better media player aspects so that might be best in the lounge. Decisions, decisions.

          Oh flip EB. They should go fine on ebay. It looks like they sell for $50 to $60 new, including postage. LBP3 and Driveclub are new releases so they should hold their high value for at least a month, LBP3 in particular. I can see The Last of Us dropping in value soon as it's been out for a while.

          I just hope we're sent sealed Australian release copies.

          I got Batman with the PS3 which I regret not selling. I could have got $80 for that, instead of letting it gather dust.

      But invoice from DSE is $453.95. Any idea if it'll be the $409.55 that'll be debited through your account?

Does anyone have a rough estimate for a time-scale I should be expecting to wait before I can go and pick it up? The store obviously had stock when I placed the order (I rang them to confirm), so what's the hold up?

      Same problem with Paypal account - error code 601- phoned PayPal and after 10 min phone call they made some adjustments and within 60 mins worked ok - quoted them the error code and bloke knew what to do. Thankfully for me able to still order PS4 - thanks OP !!

      I got a tax receipt when I picked it up. You need to take it as carry on to claim TRS. Your name, address and phone number will be on the receipt.

    I ordered the PS4 bundle, click and collect at my local store… got the confirmation email saying the other was ready for pickup. I just got a call from the store saying it was a mistake, they have the PS4 but only have the LBP game in stock, I have to wait another week for the other two games to come in. :( I had a choice of cancelling the order, or still picking it up and waiting for the other games (which is what I'll do).

    Just check your paypal to make sure that they debited the correct amount. I had all the order emails advising $398.xx after discount (even PayPal invoice) and upon checking my account they debited $444.

    Don't know who to call ~ eBay or PayPal?

    I purchased 2 PS4 bundles as 1 for a xmas gift for a friend and 1 for myself.

    Did separate orders as wanted separate invoices but guess what, you guessed it. DSE screwed it up and sent them both together and invoiced them together as 1.

    Now trying to get individual invoices since they both have been sent.

    I went personally to DS in Ashfield Mall NSW 30 mins ago, and they said they still have stock of the bundle with that 3 games, heaps of it. But when I try to purchase it now in ebay, the store selector says its out of stock in that branch. Are they selling a certain amount of stock per day?

    Called Kilkenny SA store to enquire about my order, was told they only have 5 in store buy ebay sold 40+, and management have given them no idea / reply to their emails about whether customers will get stock. Suggested maybe after Friday, maybe not.

    Fyi I always find DSE store staff helpful and excellent, within their caps it, just the nuffnuts in management / call centre non customer service oriented.
