        I'm sure everything will be okay. I was told my order may potentially be delayed due to 40+ consoles being ordered in that particular store when they only had 5 available. They said they were getting orders from Sydney and that the delay could be until Friday. So based on that I'm sure everything will be okay. Fingers crossed for your sake anyway.

          I tried calling the store several times, nobody is answering at Chirnside Park! (At 2:10-2:25pm today).

          Update: after a few more calls, finally got through, same story as others, the store are waiting for the games to complete the bundle.

          Though I could overhear in the background, they are expecting to find out about the games delivery (to stores) via email in the next hour - that's Dick Smith, not us.

      I never got an email saying my order would be delayed etc etc like most others did, but when I called the store the following day (Chirnside Park) they said there'd be a delay with my order.
      Some stores just don't process things completely I think. Call the store, hopefully it's good news but I dare say you'll likely be told something similar to me.

        If you are using gmail then the notification would probably be in the Promotions tab. I received a phone call from DS on Monday afternoon and an email on Tuesday, the guy said that the console will be shipped from Sydney. With so many orders placed I wonder if they can have stock by this Friday :(

    the story i got is that a particular store, not in the metro area, has 2 in stock but got 40 orders

    i was the lucky 2

    and i procrastinated a bit as i had to drive out of my way to get it

    and DSE had to scour local stores to find game stock

    I put an C&C order down for FarCry 4 this morning online, got the sms this afternoon to pick it up.
    I called and asked if they had any of the PS4s in stock too as I didn't want to make two trips to collect two C&C's.
    The guy said they had the consoles (got them all in today) but were waiting for the games, however it was ok if I came in and took console + FC4. Sweet!
    Went in, and they had gotten copies of the 3 games in the bundle off the shelf for me to take too. Only one trip needed :)

        Yeah I have no complaints at all about their service. Was just disappointed that it took a couple of days for the order to be fulfilled, but it's understandable given the quantity of orders received (my store had 50+, nearby ones had well over 100 the guy was telling me). I'll definitely be buying more games from them, $63 for new release AAA titles is unbeatable for a local supplier.

    Guys, about the GoPro, I applied the discount and asked for it to be delivered. In the Order Details, on Ebay, it shows that the total amount is $391.05, but in my PayPal acount, it shows that I was charged $433.95. Should I contact Dick Smith or am I going to receive the difference back?

      Check the debit from your chosen bank account - it should be the discounted amount.

      Edit: Also shown on the bottom part of the PP transaction detail page.

      That's normal. It shows the total transaction amount for the charge and you're only debited the amount with the discount. Double check your bank statement to make sure :)

    So I paid for my PS4 bundle 3 days ago from a store that listed the product as in stock. That store was Malvern in Vic.

    Upon payment I received a notification that said my bundle would be good to pickup on Thursday morning and I would receive a message informing to collect…. That's not what your site said but that's fine.

    Thursday lunch comes and goes and no message, no email, no phone call, nothing.

    Call up an hour ago to ask about the status as I've heard nothing and told that my bundle 'should' be in late Monday… No guarantees though.

    Thanks alot DSE for taking my money and keeping me informed of the situation… Useless.

      we are in the same situation!
      i was supposed to pick up at Malvern store Thursday, i didnt get any notifications so i called store this morning, the guy on the phone said neither console nor game are in stock,but should be ready for pick up on next monday.

      I was one of the first people to buy the bundle at 7:20 Monday morning. Got a call from my store (Woden, ACT) that the console was in stock but the game weren't, and that they'd all be ready before the weekend.

      Well, it's after lunch on Friday, and still not ready. They're running out of time. :\

          agreed. nismo, the issue is if you're really into gaming, you're more likely to get a tv/monitor that is best for gaming, regardless of the price.

          if you're "really into gaming" buying a cheap TV does not prove you're really into it, its more the opposite

    Just pickup a dicksmith TV, good image quality ( I play some of the movie on my hard drive), pretty bad sound but I help it by using the speaker I use for my laptop. Well overall I would recommend this. Best option for its price at the moment!

    I ended up getting the DSE LCD (got a further 5% off the $250 with a loyalty card from work + the 10% via paypal)…called my dad in Sydney and told him about my awesome purchase. He's like - go and give it back… "what?!"… he's like - I don't want to tell you your xmas present, but unless you want a second TV for a xmas… give this one back.

    DSE was awesome about it (I had only collected it about 2 hours before and was unopened). Even though it was paid via Paypal, they gave me store credit and let me exchange it for anything i wanted in store to the value of $249.

    I didn't realise how much DSE has changed, I'm tempted to start shopping there.
    (also, the fellow found m a PS4 controller dock that was out the back… last one - 2 JB Hifi and 2 DSEs didn't have stock of the OEM Sony one).
