    I was tempted but if I bought the ps4 I would feel terrible about my 100+ game backlog over my ps3,wii u, vita and 3ds… I'll join the ps4 master race in a couple of years lol.

      A couple of weeks ago someone said that the DSE TVs weren't any good for gaming, not sure about this particular model though.

      bought one last saturday for $349 :(
      audio sounds crap as speakers point down, hollow sound and no "top end" but probably ok with external ones.
      pic is ok, nothing special, havent tried games.
      just bought another for $214 and will be returning the "overpriced one" in a day or so for a refund :)

          Normal price is $349 currently only reduced by $20 on their own site so their eBay deal is obviously MUCH better (for today/tmr).

          If you ask me, these are both Cheap Low End Chinese TV's, why would you pay $100 more? Does it have any extra features that you want? Is there a longer warranty?

          You're not going to find many proper reviews at this end of the market - maybe a few Owners Opinions if you're lucky!

    Well I bought the laptop yesterday and managed to apply the code but it forced me to select postage (couldn't unclick it and choose a store to collect from) so I paid something like $234. Did anything have the same thing happen to them? I would have happily paid the $250 though so really don't want my order cancelled. And haven't received an email from dick smith yet so not sure what is happening. Did others who purchased the laptop already receive an email from dick smith?

    Yes ps4 bundle has been removed even though link still works (won't allow you to purchase it though). If you search their online store this option is gone and everything is more expensive now. What a shame. Great for those who got the deal though. Hope my laptop still arrives!

    I put the PS4 in my shopping cart and added the voucher, but just couldn't do it. I just don't think there are enough exclusives to make it worth the cash at this stage..and Xbox seems to be making a comeback of late. Maybe next year. Thanks for this deal though!

        Yeah Melbourne area had 3 stores.
        Greensborough, Doncaster and Lilydale. Only Doncaster has stock now apparently.

" I also received an email with same confirmation and a '40% off voucher for MOVE and DickSmith accessories", not sure what that means but email said "special offer just for you …… Bring this voucher in store to redeem this hot offer".

      I haven't collect it yet , will go after work today.

      I just called the store directly and they were able to confirm I could pick up. Picked up, took home, installed, updated, customised, and 12 hours later they still haven't confirmed that it is ready for pickup. Hah.

        Same here, I placed an order around 10:30am yesterday too and heard nothing. Had a missed call from them last night, tried calling their store twice today, nothing. No sms either.

        edit: Just got off the phone with them. Said they had a large influx of orders etc etc and won't have stock for a few weeks, but will call once stock is ready for collection. Yay -_-

    Just picked up my 39.5" TV after ordering at 4pm yesterday, my initial thoughts are that the TV is ok, I wouldn't be overly impressed if I'd paid $349 (like the poor guy at DSE when I picked up) but for $224 it's a good buy.

      These are my thoughts exactly. I won't be able to collect mine until Thursday but good to know someone else has theirs and can report back. It'll serve it's purpose as a second TV down stairs and as a monitor for my Intel NUC.

    Went to pick up the DS TV today.

    For the price, it was good quality video, decent quality audio, and good design … overall quite good for a $224 TV.

      The Toshiba's CPU is a Celeron which is barely better than a low range Core 2 Duo processor. Intel HD graphics are useless for gaming and will no way run a next-generation game such as Skyrim. Though for $220, it is excellent value for homework with a big enough screen although expectedly heavy.

    Just putting this out there in case it helps anyone else.
    I had PS4 on click & collect to a VIC store - got the email to say it was delayed and then I called the store to discuss. The staff member was nice but said basically everything was oversold and now they were waiting for stock to be allocated and there was no guarantee it would get delivered before Christmas.

    I called the support number for online sales and waited (for quite a while) to talk to them.
    It took several tries to explain what I wanted and they had to go back and forth to their manager a few times.
    Basically, I said that it looked like a VIC store close to me had the bundle in stock but in white (I wanted a white one anyway). I explained that basically it was the same deal but a different colour and the price was the same, I only bought the console on click&collect because it is usually a 24hr turnaround.
    The manager (who I didn't speak to but the staff member kept putting me on hold to speak with) was obviously pushing the line that I should just wait or cancel my order (which was the gist of the email).
    Anyway, I eventually asked for them to call my local store and check stock there. She called the store, spoke to the manager and they worked it out in a few minutes. I went down 10mins later and picked it up :-)

    From the internal paperwork I could see they had to do some transfer of the order from the VIC store I first selected to this new store. Then, instead of the console & games bundle they just gave me a single console and the 3 individual games.
    Win!

    I'm a happy man.
    Hope that helps someone else.
