How Can It Be Real Life If Comments Aren't Even Real

      • About as real as digital negs and pluses.

      • Once You Go In You Always Come Out Alive

      • Very very frightening.

        • Why Do You Start Every Word With A Capital Letter?

    • +2

Oh I'm sorry if I had read your post I would not have pressed +1 five seconds from now.

    • +2

      Ok I won't. Promise.

    • +4

Filthy retail price peasants; look at them worship at the altar of Harvious Normanus, dripping with the disposable income of cashed-up bogans everywhere. It sickens me.

    • -4

it's true..it'll get posted to other bargain sites..

    • Ohh shush. OzB isn't your personal bargains website.

  • +1

    Thanks for the deal.
    Going to get one.
The cash back is through direct bank-in, certainly more convenient as compared to Norton cash back.

  • Does anyone know how long the cash-back usually takes?

    • +3

From the Microsoft Cashback Redemption Page
"Your 40% of the RRP cash-back will be deposited into your nominated bank account within 60 days of the completed claim form along with the receipt. Maximum 3 claims per person."

    • it must have taken the full 60 days last time. it took forevveeeerr

    • The product will probably be a write-off by the the time you get your cash-back.. These dont last very long.

      • I'be been using mine for about 3 years with no issues at all. Going to pick up another to keep as a spare.

    • +8

Cashback is 40% off RRP, stated in description or here

      RRP for the LifeChat LX-1000 is $29.95. 40% of $29.95 is $12.00.

Therefore, $12 headset from MSY becomes $0 after cashback.

      • -6

Thanks, I'm not sure why I was downvoted, as I genuinely did not understand… Ozbargainers are tough…

        • +6

yea, feels pretty bad even though its a downvote.
          badluck man

i was curious about this too.

        • Well if you checked the link In the description you would have had the answer to your question…

  • +7

Price match at OW for 60c profit??

    • +2

They don't stock this model on their website so probably not in store either.

      • -8

        Yeah I didn't check so don't know

  • +2

MSY was selling that for $5 two weeks ago

    • +2
      • Just pointing out that its true value is $5, so don't expect too much…

    • +2

No cashback offer two weeks ago.

    • +2

You are lucky if you bought online and pickup instore 2 weeks after and ask a receipt on pickup

  • +4

Just a warning - reviews are pretty shit. I know its $0, but you might not ever use it

    • +17

A prominent rule of OzBargain is that you always get something if it is for free, regardless if the reviews are terrible or not.

      • +4

        but all that effort for…

      • +2

I'm trying to get the lx 3000 - I'd rather use one of my 3 cashbacks for that.

      • +4

although this does mean you can only claim 2 more items during the promotion period!

So there is some kind of cost.

    • +4

This is ozbargain, we often BUY shit we never use. And this one is free!

      • Yeah, the unicorn horn polisher seemed such a bargain….

    • I had this headset and it was pretty good for the price. The only problem I had is that even when the volume was at 0 it would still play volume at around 30. So pretty much the volume wasnt 0-100 it was 30-130. Not sure if this problem happens to everyone or just me.

    • +6

Exactly. And to reiterate, it's $0, it is not free! It costs you one precious claim, and potentially much better savings!

    • Dude…its RRP is $12…of course it's a shit mic. Can't get anything decent for much under $50. I upped my budget to $70 and got soe lovely PX 21s from turtle beach - the mic quality is that of professional as far as I'm concerned. Clear as a whistle and sensitive as hell.

      • If the RRP is $12 then how can 40% cashback on RRP price also be $12?

        • Got to admit, I didn't look into the history of its pricing.

I did, however look up a mic test…trust me, to call it a $12 mic is generous.

  • I'll get one on this Monday, thanks.

  • +1

    Meh

  • man, site is getting hammered atm, even tho deal doesnt start till monday

  • +2

How can there be only 1278 clicks when there are 6 million people in the world?

  • Microsoft LX1000, sponsored and promoted by Queen and crew

    • +2

They are on the T&C page, the other page is probably for retailers who paid to advertise.
