  • 40% of price, not $20?

    • $20, the 40% if off the Microsoft RRP so the price in the table is a fixed amount

      • 52A-00003 is the wired controller. Cashback on that is $16

  • $14 postage to SA :(

  • Expired in 10 mins?

  • available or not ???

  • +1

It's only $16 cashback on the wired, $20 on the wireless.

    Wired is - $25 (-16 = $9)
    Wireless is - $37 (-20 = $17)

  • I had a look at this and ordered one to my local Umart, T&C from Microsoft website specificly state Umart Online as an approved retail outlet for 40% on recommended retail cashback and so wired price will be $9 after cashback!

The true expiry date is 1st Feb, from which you have til before the 20th Feb to make your claim

See all the deets here: http://www.microsoft.com.au/cashback/Home/Terms
Edit: also the controller is black if that changes anything.

    • I got 2 wireless controllers for $13 each after c/b (now $16 each). Dont see how $9 is a bargain…

      • You must be new here

Yes, I must be new here

        • @Spackbace: Welcome to OZB, a saving of $7 is significant here. I hope you enjoy your stay.

        • @buttstuff:

Thanks for the quick reply, nice to see active members around here.

(and wired -> wireless doesn't equal a $7 saving, it equals a small cost of $7 for far greater convenience if you actually want to use it with a console)

It's a bargain, but I wanna neg it because all gone in under 10 minutes

    • +5

Actually, I checked within 5 minutes of the deal being posted… it was expired already…

    • +1

Its a bargain if you dont live anywhere near a PLE, then this deal is average

    • It's only considered a bargain if there is above a certain stock level, in which case there should have been mention.

    • I am also tempted to negate.. but will give them another chance. Ordered mine from them on the 22nd. I was notified it was received on the 30th, and it looks like they sold it to someone else the same day.

      Pretty poor first impression.

Now I have to wait for the next batch. :(

  • Why was my "-" vote considered "Inappropriate"?

This is no deal, once freight is included I could get one locally for a better price, not to mention the OP failed to enter any stock levels (if it was stock specific) and the deal expired within 30 mins. The OP is selling a standard controller for a standard price and giving us links which don't even go to the item in their shop.

It deserves a neg vote, something I almost never give out.

    edit:

An example of how the last deal was presented

    edit:

PC Case Gear have it for $29.

JB-HiFi have is for $38, but my local store assures me we could cut a deal.

Umart - Goldcoast has it for $35, or $25 if you purchase on the Internet. Including freight charges, it's about the same as what I'd pay from PCCG. Having spent thousands of dollars at each company, I'd take PCCG any day.

Microsoft has some extremely good information on this controller, you'll notice that the 52A-00003 Model (for PC & Xbox) is black where as the controller on Umart is grey.
