  • Cheaper than previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/179269

  • Nice price. Essentially getting the charger for free. Shame the XL isn't just a tad cheaper.

    • +2

Lol where do they make that claim?

      • It was meant as a Back to School joke.

    • +10

i felt sorry for you… I hope you didnt buy too many of the brain training games in bet to be smarter…

      • +1

Or have wanted to get this deal

        • +1

That reminds me of a puzzle

  • Hmmm… i have a $300 coles myer gift card which can be used at target, but does not look like it cannot find a way to use it on their ebay shop… looks like paypal only. :(

    • +7

spend your real money on this deal, and use the coles myer gift card on fuel/groceries?

      • +19

I'm pretty sure 3DSs are more important than food

CBACK2SCHOOL -Nintendo is the sort of thing to buy when your kids are going back to school?

I guess if your a stay at home parent then you need something other than alcohol to keep you amused.

    • hey u knocking alcohol?

    • +3

I spent most of my highschool playing Pokemon on a GBA.

Out teachers gave us a rule, if we ever scored less than 100% we couldn't play it in class anymore.

Level 100 pokemon battles all year :D, AND high final scores in school.

  • +14

Honestly thought that coupon was "CRACK2SCHOOL"… Seems about right actually.

  • +1

Nothing says back to school like video games!

    • Duh. Pokemon battles during play time.

I hate how they region lock the 3DS family of consoles. Can't play Super Robot Wars any more because I can't play Japanese cards.

  • Amazing deal on the New 3DS!!

    Don't forget Cash Rewards!!

  • +2

Not half bad…but the ironic coupon code for the deal seems counter intuitive; just what I want to get the kids when they go back to school to help them concentrate on work - a 3ds or wii u. Lol

    • Pokemon is edu-tainment.

  • kudos to target for pulling a reverse ebay coupon price change… heh.

if my 2ds died i would consider buying one, don't like white though.

  • So annoying they lowered the price of the New Nintendo 3DS just days after I bought it from them for $189. Oh well, great deal for those who haven't jumped yet.

    • Buy again and return the other order? That's what I'm planning to do I think…

      • +2

I bought the one last week too. Just called Target and they refunded the difference.
Otherwise, I was gonna return and buy it again as well. But when I saw this deal 15 mins ago, there were still 4 left, now it's all sold out, so good luck with that. =P

        • Oh wow you're right what the heck! I saw that as 35 available, not 35 sold :P

Man, surprised it was gone so quick though. No harm trying to call them too I guess

        • I called up. Lady I got said nope, won't refund the difference.

        • +1

@Tyrus: just buy again and return with your old receipt within 30days

        • @wtfnodeal: I LOVE that trick. If only it wasn't needed. These shops/employees can be very shortsighted.

    • Send them a message and i got a $15 gift card (better than $12 refund) so will spend in game or charger

      • Did you get that by sending them a message on eBay? I just did, waiting for a response.

        • -3

yeah, sent them a message this morning and they said will send me a gift card for $15 so I will take it and return my order, then order it again and get $12 back haha

        • They responded to me, said nah can't do anything.

  • 3DS sold out

    • Only had 15 in stock.

      • +2

it's been on and off for the past few days so i wouldn't be surprised if it was available again soon

  • It's a shame the n3DS XL isn't back again on sale. I've been looking for a bundle / sale before Majora's Mask / Monster Hunter.

  • -5

I am waiting for Nintendo to realise Apple announced Retina display years ago. Until then I will stick with my old 3DSXL.

  • It's back up, but seems to be pricing error it's $197. Needs to be fixed.

    • +1

$197 for me? and then -$20 with the Back 2 School code.

  • Refunded the new XL I bought with this offer last week to order the regular size, not sure if the trade off between screen size and saving a few dollars (going towards games) is worth it yet.

    • yeh having the same thoughts, although in the end I don't think 1 extra game is equivalent to the screen real estate (unless you aren't bothered by that fact). Also cover plates are kinda cool.

      • Although I do miss the larger screen, I'm not bothered by this smaller screen because I came straight from the DS to this.

        • it's a bit small in the hand though.. bbaek?

  • Yeah looks like it's been restocked

  • +1

The new XL also seems to have 4 more units in stock.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181646572820?ssPageName=STRK:MEWN…

    • It arrived but it was the blue one. Went in to my local store and got it swapped for a black one.

  • I just bought a New Nintendo 3DS… not sure why but now i guess i gotta buy some games to go along with it lol

  • +1

Finally did it. The $20 off, combined with my partner saying 'stop torturing yourself and buy the damn thing. I want to play Layton anyway…' was the tipping point.

One 3DS coming my way. Now to find the best deals on Layton, Mario Golf, Luigi's Mansion and Fire Emblem. BeatTheBomb have decent prices and EB seem to have a B1G1F sale at the moment on some titles.

  • Is anyone else having trouble applying the code?

I keep getting: The code you entered could not be applied. Please try again.

    • This is what I'm getting as well.
