    Thanks for the description. I've always wondered what these cables were for.

    • the last time I used one of these was prob 5 years ago , a printer needed one (it was supplied). our old scanner used one as well.

    This is perfect, thanks. Will try a local officewoeks.

    I've got a dual HDD dock with one of these cables. 2M though, too short for where I have it, and I think it's been damaged because of that (stretch/forced angles).

    Tried getting 3m from msy, never in stock. Elsewhere was too rich for my blood.

      Good luck. Can't find a single store displaying stock. Just another waste of time like the previous Network Switch deal. 3 weeks later and people are still waiting for refunds.

        If something is out of stock, you report it. Don't neg.

          Negative Vote: Purpose: To let others know about issues with the deal, merchant or product.

          There are issues with this deal. I have put in random post codes from all capital cities and other regional areas and not a single search returned any stock, other than a couple of places which returned limited stock, which usually means no stock.

          OW tend to continue to advertise clearance products when they in fact don't have stock. Classic example is the Network Switch deal I mentioned above https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/177605

          There should be a requirement that some stores are showing an item in stock before posting any Officework's clearance deal.

          @unity1:

          Fair enough, seems to fall into report and neg categories then given what happened with the switch deal.

          Personally I feel it's better to report so the deal is unpublished altogether as per out of stock reason and stop others from seeing the deal at all. In some cases the neg vote attract others to come in and just neg for the sake of it (or have warranted negs, of course), which could discourage people from posting.

          Edit: replied to wrong comment, oops!
