Is it just me, or are there a lot of cleaning companies all of a sudden? HomeHello, Helpling and now TidyMe.

OK I'll bite. Hope this turns out to be good. I was quite disappointed in my HomeHello cleaner.

      • Thanks for trying us out :)

Lots yes, but so far none willing to clean out the meth lab in my basement. THis is the first to offer to do the FULL house, so green from me.

Can I get a bond clean done with this deal

    • Hi @crohns, bond cleans are not part of Tidy Me's services.

  • Could you describe the careful vetting process?

    • I am also interested in knowing more about this, plus the fact they are a 'green' company and so the cleaners use public transport (hence you must supply your own mop/vacuum). Most cleaners I know have cars for their equipment - so it almost sounds like the cleaners are just backpacker type ppl. I'd be happy to be corrected. I'm going to give them a shot and will report back.

      • @kati Yep! In addition, we only use Earth Choice cleaning products which are environmentally responsible!

@LoopyLou We do criminal background checks, referee checks and an in-person training program.

  • your other post for $39 for a whole house is still available, why a new post?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/180207

    • That was only a $31 off coupon - This post is a flat rate $39 for any size

I see, thanks. Maybe mark the other one expired.

Also one of your customers (their photo on your site ) is also the same photo (and link) used 2 years ago for German TVs Millionaire quiz show. It maybe innocent but looks like fake customer comments when this happens.

  • Is Bexley/Kogarah within your service area?

    • Yes it is! :)

  • Ordered hope its not a backpacker who has no idea how to clean, like the last time I tried an online company.

    Feedback to come.

    • Thanks for trying us out!

  • any similar companies for the Gold Coast?

this isnt just for TidyMe but whats involved with a full house clean , how many hours? Do floors get mopped, carpets vacced, dusting all over, mirrors cleaned, inside windows cleaned etc etc. I can think of a huge list that is a house clean and would like it all but wouldn't think it is all included.

    • @PVA Hours depends on the size of your house. For example, a standard 2 bedroom+1 bathroom would be 2 hours. 2 bedroom+2 bathroom is 2.5 hours.

Inside windows are extra, all the rest mentioned gets done.

      • thanks Tidy Me.

  • Op, on your home screen there's unfortunate positioning of a hole in the sink and the text: "Cleaners you can'trust". Just sayin'

  • Do you service Panania area?

  • Winston Hills?

  • PLEASE COME BRISBANE!!

  • Hi Rep .. great deal.
    Are you able to :

1/ Tell us where we can find the areas you service? (Instead of bombarding you) . I wasn't able to find on the website

2/ Tell us roughly how long it takes to clean a 2 bedroom house, 3 bedroom house, 4 bedroom house etc? Just so that we know what to expect …

    Thanks!

    • 1/ We are servicing Sydney in the East, Inner City, Inner West.

2/ Depends on how many bathrooms+bedrooms you have, but some examples:

      *2 bed+1 bath = 2 hours
      *2 bed+ 2 bath = 2.5 hours
      *3 bed + 1 bath = 2.5 hours
      *3 bed + 2 bath = 3 hours

The best part of Tidy Me's booking system is that you can mix and match depending on what you have, and the system automatically calculates it!

    • @nickoz Sorry, not at the moment

  • Is peakhurst covered pls

    • Replied to your PM @SmiTTy :)

  • I was wondering what cleaners generally do. Do they clean all the windows and mirrors and dust every surface. I can imagine the job would be hard with a lot of clutter. Do they just work around table ornaments etc?

I wouldn't be surprised if Australia becomes the first country to require a Responsible Services of Cleaning certificate (attainable on-line in every state except NSW of course…). Although a lot of labour hire cleaners already forked out for a white card.

    • Hi @peterpeterpumpkin, I've answered this question above (its a long post) in reply to @figarow
