  • More ps4 bundle pls. I need one

  • PS4 bundles are popping up sporadically.

    64 black bundles now sold
    55 white bundles now sold

  • Any chance of the blue controllers coming back in stock? I quite like those

All 3DS are out of stock now. Well done Target. You've sold more 3DS than all other retailers add up this year.

  • Standard and XL 3DSs sold out again. I managed to pick up an XL but missed out on an additional charger for $11. Still a great bargain.

    • This offer commences at 07.00 (AEST) on 18 February 2015 and ends at 23.59 (AEST) on 22 February 2015 (“Offer Period”).

      It ends tomorrow night. :)

      Wrong post. Oops.

  • It's practically impossible to buy white PS4.
Whenever i found there are stocks available here in ozbargain, it will be sold out in the website.
Tomorrow is the last day for this deal, if still fail will just buy it from ebgames for White PS4 with GTA V and The Order deal.

Just buy the black one and bring it in store with the receipt to swap for a white one

  • Can anyone please advise why I get the following message?

The item you've selected wasn't added to your cart.
This seller won't sell to buyers who doesn't meet their requirements.

I haven't transacted in Ebay for >12 months, is that the reason?

    • Some people have mentioned that you need a telephone number associated with the account.
If not the case other reasons may include:
      - Unpaid item strikes
      - Policy violation reports
      - Negative feedback score

      • Thanks durd0008 for your help, but I've not had any unpaid item strikes, policy violations, or negative feedback scores :( Their help line is not open today, guess I have to just leave it!

  • Please tell me the black 3DS XL will be re-stocked. I just missed out on it yesterday when my browser crashed trying to add it to my cart.

    • Being a Sunday there is no guarantee someone will be working at Target to add more stock to the listing (or if there's even stock left).

If you want to you can try to price match at your local Target and explain the sale (e.g. it's their own store, just on eBay etc.).

No promises that will work though, myself and another user here managed to get it for $183.20, but others haven't been so lucky.

I managed to get my local EB Games to beat target's receipt by $1. I've uploaded the receipt too so that you're able to use it. Enjoy!

  • I'm thinking of getting a fitbit ONE, any reasons why not to get one?
I will mostly use it for sleep tracking at first.
It will be around $104 if I recall.

Any other recommendations I should look at or a cheaper price?

        • @theguyrules: cheers mate, i'm hoping it comes tomorrow

  • They've cancelled my order of the New 3DS XL, so that sucks.

    • What?? Why? Surely you can dispute that.

      • Written back no stock despite selling it online at the moment.

  • Just got the rest of my order today. My pokemon omega sapphire was bubble wrapped but my pineapple lamp wasn't… Sure enough it was broken. I took it back to me local target and returned it. It sucks as they didn't have any stock left and it was a present for my gf.

  • Below is their e-mail to me, they now are offering me the product at $229. Which is hardly a deal at all, since the cost to me was originally $183.20. They offer a sale, then take it away claiming no stock, despite having lots of stock and now want me to pay more for the product.

I wish I could neg this deal.

    Hi FabMan,

Unfortunately there was a shortage of stock available at the time that your order was sent through to our online store; we appreciate your understanding with this.

After a little investigating this morning, we've been notified that more stock has arrived of the Nintendo 3DS XL Console in Black.

We have arranged for a refund of the full amount of $229 to be processed back on to your account (this should be available in 1-2 days) as a gesture of goodwill.

You will then be able to re-order the console on our online store (http://bit.ly/17OPhQG) and not be our of pocket for the discount that has since ended.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us by responding here, otherwise our friendly team are available to speak on 1300 753 567.

    Regards,
    Kristin

    • It sounds like they are refunding you $229 though, rather than just $183.20. So when you now buy it again, you'll have $229 in your account that only cost you $183.20 to obtain. Problem solved.

However, I'm not sure that's how PayPal process refunds. I'm pretty sure PayPal will take the $229 and divide it into the $183.20 that will go back to your credit card, and $45.80 that will go back to PayPal's pockets. I guess if that happens, let Target know. They seem willing to sort it out and get you a 3DS XL with you only spending $183.20.

      • PayPal did take their money back, so I wasn't ahead.

I wrote back to them but I am cheesed off, being polite to the person of course, but they dangled a delicious cake in front of me and whipped it away from me at the last moment. Better off not having it shown to me…

        • wait a minute dude, reading that email they sent you, it sounds like they're more than willing to allow you to get it for it's original sale price.

If you need to do a little bit extra to get it… i mean, come on. It's not the simplist thing for someone on their end to organise. It sounds like they're going out of their way to help you. They could've just said, no, piss off.

        • @Odin:

Look at the OP and look at my post, the sale price was $183.20 not $229.00. The link they sent me was for $229.00, which was/is the standard price.

Please explain how me paying more for the same product is going out of their way to help me?

        • @FabMan: couldnt you get ebay to get Target to honour it? There is no such out of stock excuse in the world of eBay right? Otherwise what protections do the buyers have when we commit to buy we have to buy but sellers can refuse to sell with out of stock excuse?

        • @wtfnodeal:
I'll find out in the next day or so, I'll let this fine community know if they honour the deal or not.

  • So below is their final response to me, on the same day they cancel due to no stock they still have stock on their eBay website. There is no recompense for their poor service to me.

    Hi FabMan,

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately as this is an eBay offer we are unable to honor this.

At the time your order was picked we were out of stock but gaming items are very popular and we replenish stock regularly so we now have more available.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.

    Regards,
    Kristin

I would have asked them to send the replenished stock now but if you are tired of their BS just contact whatever the consumer protection in your state and lodge a complaint. Let your tax payer money deal with Target Australia.

My pineapple lamp was broken when it arrived in the mail. I returned it to my local Target which didn't have any so I couldn't swap it. They also called another store but they had no stock. So I said forget about it… later that day I was in a different Target and I saw the lamp. I went to the layby area and I asked if they could match the deal I got on ebay. The girl rang up someone and asked and I got the OK to get it at 20% off.

All I had on me was my paypal and Target order confirmations as well.

        • Sheeeeeiiiit

Sorry just watched The Wire recently

  • I bought the white PS4 from this. I then went and exchanged it for the $569 bundle with 5 games. I was really surprised you could exchange so easily. If I'd have known I'd of bought more items freely.

    • Sounds like it will be easier for me to exchange my bundle for a standalone console rather than selling the games then?

Did you have to pay the difference between the price you paid, or the price before the 20% off?

      • The price on invoice is what I got as exchange value, 20% more than what I paid.

        • That's awesome thanks.
