Just ordered my late dinner through eatnow.com.au and it all went very smoothly. A restaurant in my area had a 15% discount so while not $20, at least its something and my food is actually coming. Tried to find an Ozbargain worthy dinner deal somewhere but to no avail. Not even mad with you anymore Delivery Hero, just very disappointed.
I ordered for 7.00pm, rushed home to get here at 6.30 as last time my order was early and as I walked in the door I got a call from the restaurant. They said there has been a glitch, they had only just received my order and it was going to be late and checking I still wanted my food. Here's hoping it comes soon!!

Got my order delivered on time. But I feel the portion size was small.
Got 2 dishes from a highly rated Indian restaurant and they were $15 each originally. $6 delivery so essentially I paid $8 for each dish. However, they came in these shallow containers and even at the discounted price I feel it's overpriced.

$1.90 Pizza, garlic bread and 1.25L drink. Ordered at 3.45pm for 6pm delivery. Arrived at 6.20pm. Overall quite happy with cheap meal. Pity so many others didn't get their meals.

I placed a order at 445 pm got confirmation and called up company they said they didn't get the order, then they call me back saying "oh we can take your order and pay again " and you chase up delivery hero , how shit is that

Nothing delivered at 630 so I called the Pizza place and they took my order over the phone and delivered 40 minutes later, they said they will take it up with Delivery Hero as they did not receive the order. For some reason the webpage message has changed from 'Your DH team' to 'Your Delviery Hero Team'
I'm afraid that blatant typo on their website will go down as yet another mark against their already tarnished brand.

I think people are mostly angry because they're hungry. Truly, hangry. But all in all. My delivery went alright. I got mine delivered to my University as i've been here all day. $7 for a Large Pizza and Meat + Chips. Still here even now… sahhh muchhh workkkkkk. Procrastination at it's finest!
No order for me, got confirmation email, text. Called restaurant and they never received my order. Charged extra $13 or so. Even got the welcome and survey emails from Delivery Hero. Not impressed as first time user. Sent an email to customer service, will await their response.
Ordered Thai dishes for total of $7.80 for 7pm delivery. I ended up going to restaurant at 6pm as I have to pick up my kids from childcare next to it. They said they never received the DH order. I showed them my confirmation email from DH on my phone, so they honour it (and took a photo of my email confirmation), cooked and allowed me to pick up after 10 minutes. They said they will chase DH for the money.
DH site still down, Ozbargain, still breaking web sites since day 1!

Placed my order at 4.25pm and received email confirmation. Due for delivery at 7.30pm tonight. Called the restaurant at 8.10pm, they asked if delivery was for tomorrow night as they only received the order at 7.34pm. I confirmed it was for tonight, and my order was delivered to me by 9pm, with a complimentary slice of cake from the manager. I guess, I am one of the "lucky ones" to have received my order. Obviously a pretty bad disaster day for DH.
I got my food fine. Fifteen minutes after the estimated time but no worries otherwise.

I didn't receive my pizza! Disappointed, but I placed my order just minutes before I read their Facebook post regarding the expiration of coupon code which kinda foreshadowed the non-delivery.
Anyway, just now I received a text message from "6141690747" (a digit short) saying that they're sorry about not being able to fulfil the order and included a $25 voucher.
Well that was nice.
Now we wait until the tide turns and those who didn't receive their food are happier, and some of those who did receive their food start grumbling the deal was better if it had failed for them. :-D
My $20 order didn't arrive and restaurant explained that they didn't receive it from DH. 3.5 hours after the promised delivery time I got a text from DH saying "Hi this is Delivery Hero, your order is cancelled as we have been unable to place your order. Your $25 replacement code is [ ]… Valid until end of April(30/4). Thank you." Maybe those who got theirs cancelled will receive something similar.

Your $23 will be refunded, then you have a free $25 voucher. You then use the $25 voucher in addition to the refunded $23, you have an order worth $48.

I think they should refund that back to us. We ordered food for tonight and we didn't get it. No amount of vouchers is enough to compensate, we should get the amount we paid at the very least.
The $25 voucher should be for their own screw up.

I can understand peoples frustrations with not getting this or having it cancelled. It's not like a pack of Eneloops, where if he order is messed up, you can just move along.
Planning dinner for the family or with the partners and having it delayed or cancelled can really make a mess of your night. Hungry kids or even a hungry me can make for a very bad night.
Delivery Hero just refunded my paypal. I did not contact them. Looks like they are going through orders overtime.

The guy is super apologetic and calls up the restaurant for me. Turns out the restaurant that I ordered from doesn't have the capability to read online orders and orders can only be put through via phone. No idea why they even bothered being on delivery hero. Anyways restaurant say they can still deliver the meal but it'll be some time between 830-930pm. I agree only because I have no other food available. By this time, it's 730pm.
Food finally arrived at 9pm. Got a text message from delivery hero at 930pm saying my order is cancelled and they are giving me the $25 voucher. Guess I can't complain too much. Two meals for $1.80.

I ordered at Silver Spoon Indian restaurant after midday for an order for 7:30 tonight. I waited till 8:45 with no delivery and numerous calls to the restaurant with a answering machine. What was even more frustrating was the message I received from your service advising me of possible delays.
I had to physically drive out to the restaurant to realise that they were not opened today. Words cannot explain the frustration and anguish that I have right now and to spoil my dinner arrangements and cause hunger pains. This was a total fail from the start and I waited for nothing. Imagine I waited all night without dinner. I feel disgusted with your service.
I ordered a pizza at midday for 6pm delivery, it turned up at 6:04pm. Total cost to me was $1. Couldn't be happier really :)

What amazes me about DH is that they don't seem to have any kind of automated system for putting orders through. This is my 2nd attempt with 2 different restaurants and both times it's as if somebody from DH actually phones up the restaurant to make the booking.
When they get slammed, they also call the customer to blame the restaurant for the delay while at the same time they're actually calling up the restaurant asking for urgent delivery.
However for $20 and virtually free food, I have only sympathy for the restaurants who suffer the consequences of this.
I agree - when Delivery Hero called me back to help me sort out my order, the guy on the phone commented that the place I had ordered from didn't have online capability and the orders needed to be phoned in. That would mean Delivery Hero needed to call in my order! That's quite a laboursome way of doing things.

Wasted another 10 minutes trying to call DH to sort my order out but no one answered the phone. Had to spend the next hour arranging other means for dinner. Was obviously extremely grumpy due to hunger caused by DH's failure to provide a service.
Tried requesting a call back, tried calling again after dinner as well as today but no one answers the phones. Have also sent them an email last night requesting a refund but still no reply.
Unlike others, I have had no contact from DH, no complimentary coupons, nada. Very angry and disappointed with DH, they have made a rather bad impression for me as a first time customer. Won't be using them again.
