  • thanks OP, got the 6 card black

  • 6 card black seems to be sold out already.

I'm disappointed, don't think I can do a brown wallet.

    • +2

I had anticipated the 4 card to be much more popular. I was wrong. Will have more soon hopefully

      • +3

Thanks, will keep an eye out for it.

Hope you can post here with the same deal when they are back ;)

With Australian Credit card debt rising and rising, you should have known :(

        52 Billion!

Do understand that other types of cards can be kept.

Good deal though, waiting for the 6 card one myself.

"Made to last a lifetime"! That sounds promising.

    • +1

      But we don't guarantee it!

    • +10

Yes a bold claim, but mine has been through a lot with no signs of aging.

I've actually just edited to say "made to last", as I guess a lifetime is quite a long period of time.

I offer free 30 day returns at my cost (including paying for shipping) so I'm pretty confident you guys and girls will like them.

      • Can't argue with that, and what an ace returns policy. Good on you, I wish you all the best. Ordered a 4 card myself :)

  • Too late. All the 6 cards are gone. :(

  • Got a few questions on sizing.. The two guys modelling the shirts are 6 foot 1, 92kg (Tatts guy) and 6 foot 80kg. They are both wearing large. They are quite slim fitting and slightly longer than a standard tee, so you don't need to go a smaller size to not swim in the arms!

    • +1

Mate, can you please stock more 6 slot wallets.. there is a huge pent up demand on OZbargain

      • +1

Yes interested in 6 slots wallet as well

Dimensions of the wallets? And the 6 slot wallet gone :(

    • +1

4 card slot - 10cm by 7. cm. Fits $50 note folded perfectly in middle, and standard credit cards in slots. Can put Put more than 4 cards but things get tihht.

      6 card slot - 10cm by 8.2cm

    • These on sale again from 8PM tomorrow.

  • No coin pocket?

    • Correct, no coin pocket

      It's a wallet not a purse.

Lovely looking product OP. Wouldn't mind picking up a 6 slot in brown myself. Any scope for that if there's more due in? Appreciate the post

Random question, what watch is that in the pic?

    • +3

My (palmera apparel) watch, http://palmeraapparel.com.au/products/classic-watch. Should be for sale soon.

      • By "Japanese movement" I assume it'll be a Miyota quartz movement? Or will it be an automatic?

        • Hi, quartz movement. A little new to watch terminology - is it standard to mention "miyota quartz" movement?

        • @aussiemillion:

A quartz watch is electronic and requires a battery. An automatic watch is mechanical and winds itself from the movement of your wrist. It is worth mentioning if it was a mechanical watch, but just saying quartz or Japanese quartz movement is fine.

        • @mskeggs:

Thanks, will put more details on the site when I launch.

Here are the full details on the watch.

316L stainless steel case, quartz japan miyota 2035 movt, genuine leather band (double side), 304 stainless steel back, hardened mineral glass frame, PVD plate (black) colour, waterproof 3 ATM.

      • Looks good, I'll be keen to get a combo watch + wallet :)

  • +1

Nice wallets! Looking forward to the 6 slots one too!

  • +1

Release some in navy! Navy leather is sexy :)

    • +1

Great idea, will see what I can do!

  • Nice wallets!

Is your black leather finish slightly glossy?

Based on the last picture (the one with all 4 wallets together), I really like the finish of the brown wallet, but not the colour :P (sorry, picky shopper)

    • I had a look and not sure how to define the finish… it's not glossy, but its not exactly matt either. The photos are a fair representation

      • Thanks! Do let us know once it's in stock again. Very keen to get a few, makes awesome gifts :)

  • +1

I'd buy one if I didn't get a new wallet a few months ago. I'm a sucker for strange things (reptile leathers, kangaroo leather, etc) so I'd love to see something really out of the ordinary in your next run.

    I like your work though.

  • +1

I almost want to buy one just because you have a QUT student ID in your wallet photos.

    • Yeah I'm a masters student there :D

      • also a lifeguard as well?

        • Yep, Volunteer lifesaver

Sold! Local product, new small business, good product, good price. I've taken a t and a wallet. At $20 I'd stump for a 6 slot too when they come in stock. The watch looks slick too.

Nice website(works on mobile), neat looking products, no nonsense, Love it!
Need to learn using only a card wallet. I carry too many cards though!!
Might train myself by the time you bring out the 6 card wallet back in stock :)
Oh and good luck with the venture.

    • Thanks!

  • sorry misread title …

Urgh, nudie wallets, the plastic film on the corners will curl after a while and look bummy raggedy :c

    • What plastic film? The HD shots of the product look like just simple cow hide leather to me…

      • The transparent film on top of your cards, as the wallet go in and out of your pocket the corners curl up.

        • This happened with a Bellroy wallet of mine, granted it took ~18 months but my cards did start to curl at the edges. I take it as a gentle nudge to replace them all, as usually by that point they're reaching expiry or the mag stripe has become borked anyway..

        • @jackary: Mag stripe? It's the 21st century. I can't remember the last time I actually had to swipe a card in something.

        • @macrocephalic: The chip dies long before the stripe. Anyway, why the hell do you care how I use my cards?

  • damn black is sold out now :(

  • If those sunnies remain at $0.00 when made available, I predict an Ozbargaining. ;)

    http://palmeraapparel.com.au/products/wood-polarised-sunglas…

I wonder how many 6 slots wallets were available to start of with?

I missed out but I am still keen on one.

  • Hmm thinking about getting one to rotate with my old tobacco Saddleback wallet.

Do you have any information on the leather you used?

  • shouldn't the details say "$50 notes not included" :)

  • so this is basically half a wallet or standard wallet cut in two…

    Problem is:
    -where we put coins,
-it is easier for cards to fall out now
    -store less cards
-and no driver license window holder

    • +1
      • -1

if u want minimalism then just use your phone only..

scan all your cards to your phone…

        use nfc, phone payment..

Also I think you can withdraw money with your phone at some atms now

    • +2
      • You currently keep coins in a wallet? Must make it very thick. I keep coins in my pocket, and many on OzB carry no cash at all.
      • Maybe a tiny bit easier. These look to hold them pretty tightly. And normal wallets are just folded in half, its not like they are sealed.
      • Maybe. My "normal" wallet has 4 slots and a window slot, currently holding 5 cards. I like to keep it thin.
      • I can't remember a time I have needed somebody to just view my licence through the window. Cops etc. want you to take it out (maybe bouncers don't? I don't get carded much these days).

I think these look pretty good if you like thin wallets. My boss' wallet is a solid 6cm thick, and he carries everything in it, possibly going back to his 6th birthday cards. But he carries it in his hand or suit jacket pocket. I carry mine in the back pocket, so thin is good.

      • I keep coin that came from change…

If you put in pocket, need to move it to new pocket when u change pants
also it would rattle or fall out while on the move or sitting

the second half would make more tight seal than having none

if you put it in back pocket, not nice/comfortable to sit on..

I also have more cards than the amount of slots offer by these half wallet

Driver licence looks nicer through the window

        • +1

Consider dumping the coins at the next safe place, whether it be a desk, bag or car. You don't need to be carrying all of your shrapnel with you in the off-chance that you might need to pay exactly.

With the numerous other cards, if they are mostly discount cards with a barcode you can consider scanning and reprinting them into a thinner, smaller form factor.

        • -1

          @octagonalman:

No practical, since we need keep on needing to break notes, when we could just use the coins..

I do clear the coins once in a while though.

        • +1

          @tyler.durden:

I've saved over $800 in coins from the past 2 years just by making the change of not keeping coins in my wallets. I just collect the coins from change in my bag, pockets etc until I get home and dump it in a coin tin.

That's over $800 I probably would have spontaneously spent on small impulse purchases.

    • Yeah my eBay phone case says its leather, too.
