DWI Deal of the day for the Garmin Vivoactive with HRM

Current RRP for the bundle with the Heart Rate Monitor is $379, so geting it at $315 is still about $20 less than you can get the watch locally without the HRM. DWI is grey market imports and supply their own 12 month warranty. I've bought plenty from them before without issue but haven't had to test the warranty out.

  Great watch but if your using an iPhone do not buy (for now)! The watch is great but the OS suck! I'm using the latest iOS on the iPhone and updated the Firmware on the watch itself and you need to have the app running (open) in the background or the watch will lose its BT connection. So the weather/music control/calendar app from the watch will not function properly. A simple software update from Garmin would fix this issue.

  That's my negative review about the watch.

  Too bad doesn't have build in heart monitor sensor.

    Optical heart rate sensors currently are not nearly as accurate as chest straps that's why it was developed without. 'Generally' the optical ones are good at measuring a resting heart rate and not so good when exercising. That's a bit of a shortfall for a fitness watch.
