As I stated here, this was a genuine coupon. DH should come clean and admit they removed the code because it was published on OzBargain. I'm not in the habit of lying, and have absolutely nothing to gain by doing so.

And to those continually asking how I got the code, the mods are fully aware of my methods… I will not be divulging any information to others. I think I've earned my reputation, and it shouldn't be questioned. I apologise profusely to those affected, and can guarantee I won't be using DH any time soon.

Finally, just noticed a new code has been provided by DH with exactly the same conditions as my post. I think this alone should be enough to appease the doubters. If DH is serious about not wanting codes posted here early, they should tell Scotty to ban their deals.

Everyone shouldn't be so hard on TA. He is a pillar of this community. He has also had the codes extra early for us yesterday allowing us to get our orders in early. He can't help was has happened.

Sounds to me like DH were going to do this code then pulled it when finding out it was posted early.

I'm sure there is a code incoming. This deal should be expired though.

      Common sense and life experience tells me DH probably didn't want the code getting leaked to OZB members early, so decided to pull it before publicising it on their FB page. TA has got a proven track record.

      @RyanMK: I guess we're arguing semantics here but it would need to be a 2 step process, first they would enable/publish/activate a code to their commerce platform, then they would publicise/publish/spread the word on their FB page or any other medium (email) they choose.
      
      I'm only guessing but to me it's likely the code was real (TA's track record) then they learned it was publicised here on OZB so they decided to can it and never put the word out.
      
      I could be completely wrong but this is the most likely scenario.

  EC, don't really care what it says on FB (they can deny all they like) or what people want to believe. It's really quite simple… I had a valid code, with valid terms. It was pulled when the head honchos at DH discovered it was posted here. Read the main guts of my post. I've added new commentary.

No one in the wrong here. The code DID work because I entered it to my profile's voucher section and it accepted it. Some time just before 5pm, it disappeared. Obviously DH pulled the code.

I don't blame TA, the code was legit, and I don't blame DH, they're just trying to grow their user base legitimately through Facebook - not via a leaked code on OzBargain.

    Appreciate that DH is offering these deals at all, but in my opinion i dont believe DH should have pulled the code, only to release the same exact deal an hour later with a new code.
    
    If they had internal issues with code "leaks to third party websites" they should find a way to settle it internally and not bring about risk of defamation to the community here, who are all potential customers to DH.
    
    I can understand why they did what they did, but i feel like they could have done better and hence my disappointment.
    
    Unrelated, but my delivery the night before came 1.5hours late! However that was the delivery company's fault and im not too sure how much control DH has over that.
