I just purchased this just now, it gives you a redemption code, to put on the amaysim website, so it's amaysim that posts the sim card.
From my experience, it takes 3 days to a week for amaysim to post using regular post.
Also I found my Living Social had $5 credit from that $2 pizzahut deal a few years back, been a while since I last logged in so I got once off $5 discount.
I dont get why amaysim deals get so many votes. Tiny amount off the first month is worth nothing unless you had already decided to get that plan anyway. In fact, I'd say it's a trap
I agreed with you a few months ago but now I know how easy porting is you can just use for a month then port to the next provider that has a deal. I have my Boost SIM's waiting as they have a long life so am going to try this porting thing for a while. If it turns out too much work I'll just stick to Boost $20 deal.
So can you port one discounted Boost sim to another Boost sim? Do you mean use discounted Boost sims half price at $20 or regular $20 recharge?
No I'm going to port from Telstra to Vodafone then to Amaysim then to boost. If all goes well I'll keep doing this with half price sims.

I thought tablets, mobile phones and pocket modems has different programs to communicate with network. I did tried telstra modem sim card with ipad 3G, it didn't work in 2011. I haven't tried again.
Last time I ordered a Sim on amaysim site, they activated it immediately, so by the time I received the Sim, 5 days have passed. So be aware of this. Not sure if can order without activation.
Amaysim always do this. In my experience the sim has always been activated as soon as you place the order, although they say it is not activated until you make the first call.You can get onto the live chat on their website and they will change the expiry date as it's obvious no calls have been made before then, but it's a hassle you shouldn't need to do. It's a trap for the unwary …. always check the expiry date on any new Amaysim. Don't assume it's from when you make the first call.
