  • Nice !! Can I buy a GPS for my car and still get this deal?

    • Which GPS were you looking at? As long as it isn't in the exclusion list, and is purchased online.

      • +1

Cool.. it works for the GPS which I wanted - I will go for it .. Thx Mate

      • Hey storerep,
Can you help me please? I bought a Sony 40" tv, bluray and bracket from you on 24/4. When i went to collect it i was charged but had to pick up the tv from another store and the bluray later. I havent been able to get either from george st or plaza store and i have spoke with the online department several times but am getting nowhere. Its very frustrating, i have paid $773 for a wall bracket.

Don't make me post it again lol ..

  • Same exclusions as always. Surely there isn't anything that people still want from DSE that hasn't made it to the exclusions list yet?

  • Seagate Backup Plus 1TB Portable Hard Drive - Red FOR $84 - Isn't it a good deal ?

  • Any chance you'll be getting more of the Toshiba Basic Portable Hard Drive 2TB Black? It's currently out of stock.

    • +14

not until the second this deal is over

    • +1

There is another one that is 2TB, USB 3.0 and portable, but has a different model number (HDTB320AK3CA vs HDTB120AK3CA) in stock for $139. Toshiba 2TB Canvio Basic USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Drive (Black) A2.

I just purchased one using the code and click and collecting for $114.

      • Yeah I saw that one. It's not a bad deal either, I'll probably grab one myself. Thanks.

  • +7

    rep, any bargains?

Panasonic Cordless Phone with Answer Machine http://www.dicksmith.com.au/cordless-telephones/panasonic-de…
    .. usually 120 now with deal 139.90?

    • +12

UE Mini Booms normally ~$75 now $99.
      Sony SRS-X3B normally ~$99 now $125.

I was thinking about picking up a bluetooth speaker using this coupon, but now obviously I'm not.

      • +4

BOOOOOO!!!! Just for that I'm not touching your site for a while DSE. Do you hear that rep?

        • Don't lie, a bargain is a bargain and you know it. If DSE brings the cheap Eneloops, you'll be lining up with the rest of us ;)

        • @batiudrami:

I once spent a total of about 5 hours on the phone over a few set of glitter rouge to save a few dollars. In the end given a refund. So no I won't be lining up. If the discount is deep enough I might consider buying but I'll be dreading the potential fallout.

        • +2

@batiudrami: Not true. I bought a $999 HP laptop from Dicksmith about two years ago, had a very bad experience. Still not buying anything from them. They can shove all their specials.

    • +6

Yea DICKSMITH are selling above RRP (129.95) - pretty dodgy

Toshiba 1TB Canvio Connect Portable Hard Drive - Red for $74

  • +17

Haha went to have a look at the Sony SRS-X3B Portable Wireless Speaker to see if it would be like $99 before coupon. Nope, apparently $125 is a hot price!

    • +3

seems to also be a crazy price

      its breaks this rule

    • The sale finished yesterday unfortunately.

  • Yawn

    • +7

Alkaline disposable shiny batteries are not environmentally friendly and copying Eneloops is just lame even without factoring in that people may be duped.

      • +3

I know right. I excitedly added 2 packs to my cart before realising in time they weren't Eneloops….

        • +3

…and yet I'm voted down by some shill.

        • +3

@syousef: It will be one of the 60+ DSE staff that has +voted this deal so far.

  • Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd we're back to 25 off 99+ again. It's so cyclical.

  • +7

Lots of votes already but what bargains are there?

    • +1

All the good stuff is excluded, this seems more like a pre mid year sale than on overstocked stuff than a bargain.

  • Can i buy extended warranty with the product?

  • Code works on DS4… but you need to find something to push the price over $99…

    DS4 is $79.99~

So you need something that is $20 so you can use the code.

    • Just to add, combining it with some eneloop pro 4pk AA. Total is $83.96. C&C…

I'd say that isn't a bad price considering eneloop pro is average $20 on special which brings the DS4 down to $63.96 (same price as Costco but you don't have to pay for membership)

  • +2

Kaiser Baas Smart Media Player for $74.98 might be OK if someone needs an android based media player sourced locally.

Officeworks has it for $98 for comparison.

  • Nothing really special about this offer, if you subscribe to trickies email list you will get 2 similar offers daily.

Different so called discounts twice a day.

Its a trick to get us to buy stuff we dont need just to get $25 off

Come off the grass trickie give us some really really special prices all the time.

bought 2 X APPLE Keyboard Wired V2, after discount, just $91, only $45 each. good price!

  • +7

Doesn't DSE have a rep for always upping their prices during a sale already? If so, how is it still getting upvotes!

Thanks man just bought the jabra Sport Pulse Wireless been wanting to get it for cycling for a while and for $159 that's cheap

  • The code can be applied for PS4 & XB1 controllers however there is the $99 spend. Wish it was an over $60 spend. Pass for me.

  • Does not work on the google nexus player - its not in the exclusion list either…

    • Nexus player is one of the selected advertised items 'XH1448' that is excluded. Was also hoping to get a discount on this one too.

  • I wish they'd discount the Fitbit Aria again.. being holding out for a good price for that one for a while now.

  • Tried to purchase a Navman GPS ($119) but the code didn't work—> "Coupon code "OZBTUES" is not valid."

    • +2

Be happy about that. Consider this one for $152 at JB or $132 after $20 off voucher.

  • PS4 controllers, "available for click & collect" add 2 to basket without promocode, no store in Brisbane has them, try 1, still nowhere in Brisbane and can't get home delivery,

    • +4

Yeah I think they put them out of stock intentionally?

I found some in WA, but they were miles and miles away from the CBD. Thing is, I guarantee ALL the CBD stores have stock.

      • Seeing as the DSE rep is the OP i think he needs to be called out to address this accusation…

        • yeah will find out tomorrow i guess if they are magically in stock

      • +1

yeah for sure, no store in bris has a controller yeah right

      • Black - Carousel, Midland
        Blue - Ocean Keys

Cannington is like 10kms out of the CBD, nothing major if you want/need 1 or 2

    • +1

None available in Melbourne? CBD None… No Dicksmith store within 10 KM of the CBD has PS4 controllers?
Bullshit. I'm gonna go to emporium on my way home and check if they are in stock…

I am also screen shotting this now and I'll do it again at midnight I bet you they will mysteriously come back into stock….

  • +1

Thanks, worked on a Mac Mini that I was going to buy today!

  • +4

People still buy GPS units? =/

    • +4

Exactly. I just steal mine from unlocked cars in the Ikea carpark.

  • If you like logitech keyboards, or want one for each of your hands, u can get the k830 and the k400r for $77.50

  • +1
    • Cool, seems to be the cheapest by far.

  • when will pebble watch go under 100aud again? been waiting for while

    • Keep an eye on Pebbles official website. It's currently ~$89 USD, but when I got mine, it was $79 USD, putting it at about $99 AUD inc shipping. With the new version coming out, the price can only go down.

  • Just picked up ue boom for $143 with code and free pick up

  • Limited to the first 200 customers - is it up already ?

    • +2

Normally limited to first xxx customers means "limited until we start our next deal at 5pm"

  • +1

95 + for this deal where there are as usual more exclusions than sale items.
Would vote +1 for the rep as he is only doing his job, but just can't.
Wasted a lot of my time to get a refund, 6.5 weeks for a refund is just to long, and then only with eBay's help.
It will be a long time before I will buy anything from this mob again

  • -2

    UNBELIEVABLE!!

They 'refunded' my order and screwed up my gift card. It's now $0 balance. JUST LOST $55!

    • True, if you paid with gift card and it has been cancelled, then they will send you new gift card with same value via mail, so probably 2 to 3 days.

      • Edit: Update.

By default, yes they do refund gift cards by re-issuing them via smail-mail. Doesn't help much with one-day use codes like this one where, finally, what I wanted wasn't an exclusion.

They sent me the gift cards. To the wrong address. They used an address that wasn't even in 'my account' online!

I won't go into details, but the problem was resolved and I've placed my order. It'll probably be cancelled again.. but, fingers crossed.

I wanted to say thankyou to 'Amanda' from DSE who resolved my problem.

Not sure what to do with my vote. Very happy with Amanda; schocked they'd tried to send the gift cards to the wrong address.

    • -3

Really sorry to hear that and hopefully you can get it sorted, but is that a reason to down vote the deal?

      • +2

Major issue with retailer is a valid neg vote. And thanks to the clowns that run DSE, there is no shortage of major issues.

  • DSE really need to go over their pricing more thoroughly. As one example, I have been keeping an eye on TV prices and the CHANGHONG 50" LED TV LED50C5000 was on sale last week for $639 (Saving $160) Now the same tv is selling for a hot price of $799 and apparently saving $160. Does not compute !!

    • +4

Rumour has it that the guy who sets the prices served his apprenticeship setting petrol prices for non-colluding oil companies.

    • 3 days ago it was $588.88

      lol

but you know, there is $25 off today :P

  • smiles, what GPS did you buy?
