Motorola Moto 360 $199 (Free P&H) @ DWI if Paying with PayPal

560
DWI20PAYPAL

Going off other post (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/194019) which states all watches have 20% then this would make the Moto360 under $200.

Not Australian stock but this would be the cheapest it has been.

Just added to cart and says there is 20+ units in stock. Comes with 12 month warranty

Enjoy

  • I didn't get free shipping when paying with PayPal. Premuim expresss shipping.
    A$217.34 total

  • Don't know about other peoples experiences with this site, but I ordered the LG Urbane a few days ago from DWI, since then it was meant to be shipped within 24 hours as per their 'guarantee' but it hasn't been shipped and customer service has been useless… I paid for express shipping as well.

So if you order don't expect it to be fast or good service.

    • I agree, I have never had a good ordering experience with DWI (delayed, lost in post, wrong item, DOA) but I also have never had to use the 12 month warranty on anything I have bought previously (apart form the device DOA) and that was a fairly easy process to be fair

      • I bought a kindle paperwhite and it died within a couple of weeks boot loop issue.. sent it back for repair (home address in brisbane) and they swopped it out for another one on the sneaky…. I complained I got the wrong one back and they were like sorry must have been a shipping mistake. one I got was a few months older in warranty terms… so I got one in the end but doesn't say much if they are confusing peoples warranties… I know I look after my gear so thats why I always expect the same one returned if repairable… and not somebody elses refurb… all this needed was to be opened up and the firmware reloaded as per discussions with amazon before they realized it was a Japanese version and told me I had to deal with them..

    • I bought the Urbane from them on Thursday night with free standard shipping and added the insurance. I received the watch yesterday.

      • How is the URBANE? And is it worth the difference in $$$ over this Moto360 deal?

        • The Urbane is my first Wear smartwatch. But I did try out the 360 at HarveryNorman before and it felt a bit small on my hand, but Urbane might be too big for some people.

I love the AMOLED display on the Urbane though, works great with ambient display.

As for battery life, so far is about 1 day with ambient display on.

In my opinion, the extra $$ is mainly for the design (Urbane looks more like a watch) and LCD vs AMOLED. Also, no flat tire on Urbane.

        • @kwoky2010:

          Thanks for the reply.

Its sold out now, so I guess i'll have to wait till the HUAWEI watch comes out and then compare the URBANE with that.

  • I disagree,

I bought my Silver Urbane the day the 20% started (Thursday I think it was) I paid the $10 premium express extra cost.

I had it the following Monday. Bought my LG G3 from them as well.

    Very happy with their service.

You are better off buying the moto 360 from amazon, its currently on sale for $169US which is about $220. I bought one last week for $179US ordered it thursday got delivered tuesday.

    • +3

why is $220 better than $199?

      • +1

because we trust amazon more than dwi

        • why not pebble smartwatch? its 209

        • @sajidmib: Pebble is not really in the same class of smartwatch - lack of app extensions, touch screen and no Android Wear.

        • @klaw81: who cares .. smart watch is used for notifications, remember why we moved from smaller screen to bigger screens like 6.0 was the reason going back to it make no sense, a watch with time and let u know of messages is enough, battery is important to me, Moto 360 gives u a day pebble gives u 5-6 days

        • @sajidmib: I care. I am not interested in only getting notifications; I want a true remote control for my phone.

The possibilities with Tasker plug-ins for Wear are truly endless - home automation, one-touch actions and voice control. Pebble can't even come close to that. Plus the e-ink screens on the Pebble products are awful and their designs are ugly. If I'm going to pay $200 for a watch, I want one with a touch of class.

Battery life of one day is more than sufficient for my needs. I already remove my watch and put it beside my phone every night - putting them both on charge at the same time is zero inconvenience.

@klaw81: fair enough i ll buy a smart watch APPLE ones but let the 3rd or 4th editions come in which is about another 2 years wait

          Enjoy !! ;)

      • $20 is a very small price to pay for actually getting your item before 2nd gen moto 360 comes out.

  • DWI again watch your warranty returns

  • and remember any DOA' or other problems, paypal return shipping insurance covers the cost if you do happen to pay for express posting per one of the cemmentators above

  • Item is sold out now on DWI.

  • looking for a LG watch R any deals?

    • +1

I second that. Any deals on G watch R or LG watch Urbane?

      • urbane is also 20% off (max $50) so down to $379 shipped

        • +1

Yeah I realized after posting. 20% off without $50 cap would've been a sweet deal…

        • @urzu:
I'd still bite / but the urbane doesn't come in a black face… have too many silver watches and want a black dial/strap
so the original watch R suits me
