  • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/194696 also posted the deal for car audio cheap $53 touchscreen usb headunit and $33 usb headunit.

    • Thanks have added them to the list.

      • Sorry I will remove this to avoid being a duplicate.

    • unfortunately they are not able to deliver the deal for cheap car audio.
it's been 15 1/2 days and unable to tell me where it is.
at least they didn't use Toll for delivery…
should be banned from here for fraud and false advertising…
who else has had problems with this "online only" store???

      • +1

I got all my gear and had no dramas at all.

I've had dramas before with them

        • Update: now it's over a month since I placed and paid for my order on the 20/05/2015. Aft 10 days I was told they could lodge a complaint with Auspost… So, I have called both the seller and the deliverer. Seems JB should have a "Free" tracking no., but deny having one as my 55ltr parcel was general postage…WTF ???.

Time for ACCC and/or legal action…

For such an easy transaction under $500, it has been a complete waste of time…
Next time, just make it click n' fkn collect, thanks !

  • Hows the warranty still the same 1 year?

    • Its a statutory requirement so yes, it should be :)

  • +4

Damn good price on the 920. I've been running one for a couple of years. Battery is starting to reduce a bit now but I'm holding out for Windows Phone 10 flagship to replace it with.

    • Thanks added.

      • And gone!

        • +1

Yep removed it 5 minutes ago

  • +2

Crazy price for the 920, had mine over 2 years and still going strong. Almost impulse bought one but then I'm hopefully holding out for a good flagship Win10 phone as well.

    • +2

      All gone….

    • Question is, how is the performance of the S4 chipset compared the the 400s that are in all the other lumia phones right now?

      • Couldn't really say, not really used any other Lumia since I bought it.

  • velocity all gone

    • Thanks have updated

  • I think I'd be a bit wary of the iMac (though its price is good).
Almost 4 years' old and display stock.

    • Sold out, so moot point.

      • Thanks removed.

  • $108 Samsung 10" Tab 2 older ex-display Tablet
    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/tablets/samsung/…

    • gone

  • Blackberry Q10's are all gone.

    • Yep, had one in my cart, had a phone call come in and by the time I was done it was sold out sigh.

      • I'm so very depressed by this.

Mine has a bit of a keyboard fault (double tapping) which is known to happen as i work in a damp area.

I was gonna get another one.

        Shame :(

        • +1

My wife had a keyboard fault on hers as well, but a replacement keyboard was only $20 and easy to install. So it might be worth tracking one down.

        • @gibspmuh:

yeah im not too scared of doing it myself, would have been nice to have a 'new one' for $100 is all :)

  • +1

crazy price on olympus cameras!!! I just bought the E-P5… for $314!

    • Ok thanks added

1TB Twin Tuner HD PVR (Floor Stock) $21 delivered - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/players-reco…

    • all gone too!

    • Thanks added

    • Curious - what brand were they. missed it.

      • +1

        DGTec DG-FV1TBPVR

        • Thanks. I've posted a few PVR reviews on Whirlpool.

Lol. A DodgieTec - their name & reputation in the trade. I've had great problems with the brand. Well no loss there as a PVR. But the hdd would be worth it & would have still worked as a Set Top Box.

  • I'm tossing up between the Kenwood KDCU5049DAB 200W Car CD Receiver with DAB+ or the JVC though I don't thing it's digital (DAB)

How do you rate the DAB+ worth it?

    • +1

not really worth it and thanks to abbott cutting funding a lot of digital stations are disappearing and can only be found on FM now :(

      • I mostly only listen to FM, I have issues with antenna and signal in my current HU so looking for something with a separate tuner

      • I listen to DAB+ in the car in the city on a Sony BT HU, but through Aux. Just bought the $108 reduced down from $900+ Orion double din 7" display unit with DAB+
        Now gone.

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/all-computers--t…

good if you add to other item order :) real leather.

    • Thanks added

    • Great price!

    • damn. gone.

    • I have added and removed (thanks!)

      • crazy stuff is moving fast! if only DSE had good deals like these (though i'm unsure of quantity they have/had)

  • +1
    • Can't believe people actually bought it.

I was a tad wary of Arc S at 53 bucks, being stuck on ICS, meh battery life, even though the screen is great. But Xperia X1?

Ended up getting a P6 instead, probably won't get Lollipop, but at least its on Kitkat.

  • All Lumia 920 phones seem to be gone, won't add to cart. Useless JB website. :-(

  • Dammit missed out on a great Q10 deal again!

  • Won't let me add anythingto the cart :/

    • Crap website…. most things didn't want to add to cart (low stock?), but eventually nabbed some items.

  • Man, whoever got the Marshall JCM 800 for 700 bucks, I hope you enjoy it heaps! That's quite the bargain.

  • +1

Just bought the E-P5 with lens for $314, for me, that's better deal than the E-PL5 twin lens kit at the same price:

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/cameras/dslr/olympus/olympus-pen-e…

    • Ok thanks I added this too.

    • Great camera, was used to film action sequences on Mad Max Fury Road

      • Damn. Seems like the E-P5 is no longer available. Would have been a nice upgrade from my E-PL3 :(

        • Yeah god damn that E-P5 was a great deal

Do you think the E-PM2 for $209 or the E-PL5 for $241 would be a better buy than a E-PM1 SLK for $100 that I got from Big W?

        • @CVonV: I would get the E-PL5, but that too, is gone.

        • @endlesstrail:

yeah.. I already got that said E-PM1 for $100 last week. just wondering if paying more than double will justify the improvement in image quality?

        • @CVonV: $100 is a damn good buy! I guess it depends on whether you think the jump from 12 megapix to 16 megapix is worth the extra $100. The E-PM1 is from the same era as my E-PL3 and I'm quite happy with it so far, except for a problem with the 14-42mm kit lens.

        • @endlesstrail:

yeah I wasn't even looking but I noticed they had it on display while waiting for the guy to check if they had any Canon 50mm f1.8 portrait packs in stock ($80), which they did not (but I found some at other stores anyway). I asked for the price and they said $100, I was pretty shocked and took the last one they had.

yeah over double ($100) for an extra 4MP doesn't really matter to me. I don't care about the MP race, but I have read that that 16MP sensor is from the OM-D which apparently is way better than the 12MP on our cameras? what's the problem with your kit lens?

        • +1

          @CVonV:
The lens (only the 14-42mm) gives an error when I try to focus with it anywhere between 29mm - 42mm. Manual focus is fine, but at auto focus, when I half press the shutter, I get a black screen with an error message. The issue appears to not be an isolated one, with lots of reports on the net. I won't mind getting the E-PM1 just for the lens and selling off the body, or keeping as a spare. That said, I've used my camera for about 3 years already and have taken thousands of photos. :)

        • @CVonV: I have a similar camera, trust me, buy a really good lens and you won't care about mega pixels.

    • Crap, had it lined up and went looking for any other Oly bargains and then phfft, from half to zero on gthe stock meter in 10min. Already got black body but was after silver for partner. :)

  • 920 is gone

    • Thanks removed

  • Lost the 1TB PVR but scored both 7" headunits :) WOOT! Didn't really care for the PVR either but thought it was cool!

  • +1
    • Thanks added

    • Thanks. Are the new or ex display?

      • +1

        Pretty sure new.

        • Cool..

        • @Samantha93:

          Hi Samantha

Did you order the Harman Kardon? Has it been shipped?

        • @Ahan:

          Yeah, not yet. Has yours?

        • @Samantha93:
Nah. 3 other orders are now shipped.. Interesting…

        • @Ahan:

I wouldn't worry, should post ours in the coming week =)

  • +3

EOS M @ $199 is a damn good price, decent camera, i own one.

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/cameras/dslr/canon/canon-eos-m-18m…

    • Also added

    • Just bought it after weeks of waiting, glad i waited for the cheap price

    • Got one. Gotta find lenses now.

    • Are these the one with horrible autofocus??

      • The firmware upgrade resolved that, it's still not the quickest but it's a massive improvement with the new firmware, for the price i don't think you'll do better.

        • Thanks for the info. Do you know if this one come with the adaptor that will allow me to use my existing EF-S lenses?

        • @highon2str: doubtful at that price, but yes you can get the adapter for this camera, not sure on price but.

        • @JoshG123: Yup a genuine canon adaptor runs around $100 and an aftermarket one around $50.

Wondering if it would be any good with a 50mm F1.8 EF-S prime lens - as a second camera setup? Couldn't find many reviews of this particular combo.

        • @JoshG123: comes with adaptor!! :D just bought another one, imo great bargain

    • +1

Just got one. Price low enough to try out. Read from a recent body only post on ozb and someone mentioned that an EF adaptor was included. Keeping my fingers crossed!

      • Same here! Show us mercy JB! You aren't dick, right?

    • If you want the Canon EF-M to Canon EF / EF-S adapter, Teds has that as a package together for only $299 which makes it the cheapest price I can find on the canon branded adapter.

    • +1

Just noticed the description on the Jb website:

      Overview

The EOS M combines the renowned EOS DSLR quality in an ultra compact body that is fun to use. The compact system camera enables users to lose themselves in the moment rather than the camera manual, through its ease of use and incredibly compact body. With the ability to attach EFM, EF and EF-S lenses, as well as an array of EOS accessories, the EOS M is the perfect tool for those stepping up from their compact camera and not wanting to embark on DSLR photography.

So I'm pretty hopeful now that it does come with an EF adaptor in the box. Woo hoo..

      • highly doubt it.. but let us know if it does

        • +1

Mine came today! Express shipping too. Can confirm it comes with the Canon adapter :)

      • +2

Yesssss !! Mine arrived too with the adaptor!! That's $79 for the adaptor and $120 for the body! What a deal!!!

        • Hmm well then.. This makes things very interesting…

Did it come with the flash unit?
