        • i bought another one its such good value!

      • Recently installed magic lantern on the EOS M. Focus zoom and focus peaking are pretty handy for the LCD viewfinder based shooting!

  • would've loves one of those lumia 920s. big upgrade from my current lumia 530.

    • Thanks addded

        • Sometimes wonder how we can make the government as efficient as ozbargain-ers

  • they should have 50% off coupons like dh "sarcasm

  • Weird that it says Model: HD25-SP-II

when title and picture says Sennheiser HD 25SP DJ… Which one is it?

looks like you're not getting either :P

    • -1

To be honest. If you can't tell which is matter, it's likely that it won't matter you.

This is like the other day someone was asking me to buy a 5Diii or 6D without telling me why he's tossing between the two. (Buying for the sake of it). I doubt he is able to utilize the difference of a 5Diii over 6D.

    • +1

EP5 has wifi built in which is very important. and in terms of photo quality, they are similar but EP5 may be a little bit better due to better body. I bought the EP5 btw. It is a huge bargain, have a look on ebay and you can see the price

      • you forgot that the biggest advantage of the E-P5 over the PL is the 5-axis IS. The lenses that come with both cameras are average.

  • "Olypus" ?

    • +1

I have updated the post as a couple of the items were sold out since last I checked.

  • +3

these speakers are $5.50 ex-display with full warranty. Were $70 when first released and reviews are ok.

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/ipods-docks-sport/wireless-speaker…

    review:
    http://www.cnet.com/au/products/veho-360-portable-bluetooth-…

    • Ok added, thanks

    • Gone.

    • Saw those earlier & thought they'd be crap, but bought after reading the review. Ok for $5.50 delivered. Thanks.

  • had a nokia 920 in my cart, done some work for 10mins, sold out :(

    • +1

      Have added to the list.

      • +1

        sold out

  • Anyone have any reviews on the Soniq CSA51 5.1 Multimedia Speaker System (Ex-Display^)

Listed under computer accessories. Just need a cheap replacement for a 5.1 system I broke.

  • +2

fxxxx… this is crazy… won't even have enough time to check prices online and read up on reviews… you snooze… you loose….

    • +1

You and me both, losing my head and my wallet here

      • +2

Might need to loose the head twice when missus finds out. ;)

    • I had both the Arc S and Ascend P6 in the cart.

While looking through the reviews/specs, Arc S disappeared, and well, decision was made for me, and I took the Ascend P6. (Even though I was leaning towards the P6 due to it being on Kit Kat instead of ICS like the Arc S.

      • The P6 is not that good value compared to what I keep getting offered but was the better of the bunch in my opinion

    • And definitely won't have time to post - hectic.
      Deal missed while posting :-(

  • Speakers gone.

  • Thanks OP, got the Olympus EP5

    • +1

JV may want that hamburger maker

    • Added thanks

    • **** Soniq switch

      ftp://ftp.quatius.com.au/Manuals/CSG80.pdf

**** Confirmed the USB3.0 card reader is good value consider it cost similar on ebay for non-branded ones.

  • Guys, what does AUX Input Rear mean and also USB Port x 2 (Rear x 2) ? If I buy this Car Audio JVC KD-R90BT USB/CD Receiver with Bluetooth for $75, would I not be able to use this to connect any USB or use AUX input straight away ? Pls clarify

    • +1

AUX rear means AUX is on the back side

USB port 2 two means u can plug in two USB drives

      • But it says rear - so , does that mean I cant see them straight on head unit , both USB and AUX ?

        • i dont think it applies to the USB ports (at least not 2 of them)

it's dumb if they put two usb on the back side

        • Very sad, it says so
          USB Port x 2 (Rear x 2) (WAV/MP3/WMA/iPod & iPhone Audio)

This is the model which I am planning to buy:
          https://www.soundmaster.com.au/JVC-KD-R90BT-Bluetooth-Dual-U…

If they have it to the rear of the Head Unit, how will that again pass to the front for me to use either USB or the AUX Input? Not sure whats the matter with this type of Head Unit ? What is the point in giving them at the back ?

          Any ideas ?

        • @smiles:
Dangle a USB cable to the front… as well your AUX…

i see why now… they use one of the USB for BT connector (included)…

if you can find a low profile USB cable on ebay… should be ok…

        • @googleyahoo69: Alright Thx mate..

  • +1

    Looks like nothing interesting left.

  • For those that know cameras.. Obviously the Olympus dslrs were the best bargains but now that they're gone, do any of the ex-display cameras represent value? E.g Panasonic lumix dmc lx7 has great reviews from what I can see, is the price a bargain?

    • why don't you consider EPL5? still availabe

      • It's Still listed here but not available on the website

        • LX7 is a very good camera for that price. It was the best point and shoot before Sony RX100 series took it's crown. Only slight downside is 10MP sensor may not be enough if you do a lot of cropping. Great photos and videos though, and excellent in low light without flash.

        • It's still there, I just ordered it.

        • the single lens still available

        • +1

@whatadeal: thanks! Didn't notice it. Picked one up.

    • I just bought one. They're a few years old, but the price doesn't seem to have dropped much in the last couple of years.

I wanted something smaller than the M43 cameras (because they're not really pocketable with the 14-42 lens on). I actually wonder if the XF1 would have been better for me; too late now.

      • Thanks for the advice. I'm clueless, I went for the epl5 after I realised it was still available. No idea if that's a good thing or not but all the options seemed like good deals.

        • The EPL5 is a pretty good camera. I already have a DSLR and I've tried a m43 camera; I just wanted something without a large protruding lens.

        • @macrocephalic: the description for the EPL5 said Body only, lenses sold separately
does it come with the 14-42mm len?

        • @tcjm: I think it comes with a 14-42 as it mentioned it at the top?
          https://www.jbhifi.com.au/cameras/dslr/olympus/olympus-pen-l…

but at the bottom it says body only….

        • @whatadeal: thank you, cheers

        • @tcjm: The details tab also kinda indicates lens inclusion due to 14-42mm zoom spec? Tis a tad confusing

    • The Olympus E-PM2 for $209 is still available. The Lumix LX7 is a bargain if you don't mind its size. I just bought an x-display Fujifilm XF1 for $109, which is about half what DigiDirect were last selling them for.
      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/cameras/compact-cameras/fujifilm/f…

      Size comparison LX7 v XF1: http://camerasize.com/compare/#350,379
      Previous XF1 bargain: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/134553

      • while the XF1 is at a great price, I would never ever buy a display model camera.. the amount of finger prints and abuse those things go through in store.. gosh even the DSLR sensors are badly raped :/

  • +1

Yeah got myself one of those 3.5mm soniq speakers.. could only find one post on it for $21 a couple of years ago, guy said great bass…

and also the vintage handset…. gf always worried about radation LEL.

and that $5 usb 3.0 reader.

    • +1

Maybe you could give the OP a vote.

      • just did, how do u know i forgot LOL.

Btw never worked it out.. what do we get for the upvotes? Is there a leaderboard?

        • +3

The green plus beside your name.
Your 1st comment tells you what you got.

  • Wow, the iphone 5 came and went quick at $400ish.

  • +2

So it seems, they are still adding items to the page.

  • +5

This is what happens when I turn my back from OzB for 2 seconds

  • H0li1 smackAronee.
Didnt have time to check the review on the olympus epl5 and hit purchase.

My heart still beating really fast on this excitement, hopefully its a good camera for my upcoming holiday.

  • +2

Goshhh, I was just concentrating on my work for just one hour, then boom, deals up and gone, seriously??? Anw grabbed 3 card readers, 5 13" sleeve with bundle and 3 10" soniq sleeve with mouses. 44 delivered. Not sure if its a wise spending haha. Next time, will not lose concentration on OzBargain again lol.

  • +4

Anyone else have this problem with family members/friends.

"Oh… I'll think about it…' or 'I'll grab one on Thursday when I get paid'.

Then just like Nicholas Cage it's gone in 60 seconds. They contact you later wanting one and they get pissed off when you tell them they've sold out.

Or they find your nice shiny new gadget, ask how much it was, then they ask 'What's wrong with it?' or 'Can you get me one?'

What is the OzB solution? Don't tell them, hide your goods? What?

    • Let them pay the difference. If it's a good product you can still recommend it when it's on a decent discount (that will stick around a while).

    • +1

I use poison myself, with troublesome pests ;-)

  • cheers OP. I couldn't resist the Panasonic LX7 for $209.

  • Cheers OP, got some sony 6" splits for $50 delivered :D

    • same but the confirmation just came through and says" Availability: AwaitingStock" Not sure what that exactly means.

      • It means they hold onto your money and if stock comes in they send it ;-)

      • That Sucks =/ I just checked mine and it says "In Stock". I must have nabbed one of the last few. Hopefully yours doesn't take too long.

  • Dammit Q10 sold out :(

  • +1

Was going to buy card readers but more and more started disappearing out of my cart every time I moved on through the process. JBHiFi needs to learn what a virtual cart actually is. In the end I was down to 1 and with delivery it was no bargain.

    • +1

i check out each item as i "wanted" them. free delivery. so… no difference to adding all in cart and do single check out?
