    Chromecast 2 is arriving at Google I/O on 28 May 2015. I think I'll wait to see what the improvements are over the now 2 year old Chromecast.

    Streaming from my own HD to TV is my main priority, ability to access interwebs in bed will be good but no interest in netflix etc

    If I want to stream netflix onto my TV will this do ok or should I wait for CC2?

      This will stream netflix fine - granted you're using a device to stream to it.

      If you need anything else, get a roku. Theres nothing better out there.

    I think for the last 18 months, every deal i see with Chromecast is $37-39. Perhaps post one when its like $30??
