Won't. Sensor light do the same trick?
It would but without the smarts. My wemo lights only come on if there's movement between certain times, it also sends me an email if its activated when I'm not at home. Its integration with IFTTT opens up a whole new world.
A very good price, I was tempted when it was $71 a couple of days ago. I already have one and use it to trigger the WEMO LED lights in the garage when people arrive home. The Wemo range seems to be getting more robust with each firmware update.
