  • The referee will receive their $10 credit to use instantly following application of the referrer’s personal promo code.
  • The $10 reward tab for the referrer will expire 3 months following it’s application.

  • The referee’s $10 first tab will not expire.

  • To be eligible for the $10 reward tab, the referred customer must:
    Register with Clipp and apply your unique promo code BEFORE opening their FIRST tab.
    Open a Clipp tab at any venue Australia wide.

        According to the Mods they are: Our guidelines https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guidelin… for 'Deals where the referral system is the deal' state is okay as long as referer & refereree earns credit, there is a wiki so everyone can benefit and it hasn't been posted before. This ticks the first 2 boxes, the third about 'no updates' to the referral program is for when permanent refer a friend programs are updated, so if refer a friend credit is changed from $25 to $27 then it shouldn't be posted as a deal again and the initial post should be updated. This ME Bank deal isn't a permanent update to $100, it's a limited offer for 3 days only, furthermore there is no permanent program as it appears the refer a friend bonuses aren't available continually, only as limited offers so we treat them as such, separate deals. 'No updates to referral programs' is referring to sites like uber that have a continual refer a friend program and updates that are permanent, not limited offers, to the referral credit. Thanks!

    But all that being said, this is really an underrated deal that most users won't know about. If i refer my wife she has $15 to spend (No minumum spend) and then I get credited $15 to spend (No minimum spend). So essentially 6 free beers or free counter meals etc. +1 OP

    Hi guys, help me here to understand how does this work. If I choose to use promo code UC5R5 with my new account and I set tab limit to min ( which seems to be $25)….what should I do now further if I have to get the kids meal of $13 ( meaning I don't have to pay anything)?

      No more lining up to pay your tab. Close directly from the app and your receipt is emailed to you instantly.

      That's it. Once you have closed your tab, you shouldn't be charged to your credit card or PayPal account.

So this is what I did…Opened tab with min amount $25 ..app asked me to enter paypal details. ..then it picked restaurant/hotel which I wanted to use…it then kept flashing "tab 35 " .. what exactly it means? … ok then I simply closed the tab. ..it said you have been charged $0 and receipt will be sent. …. but where in this process I order or purchase the kids menu item :( so confusing. …

      I'm going to be checking out Fat Bob's in Moorrabbin, The Beaufort in Carlton and Nieuw Amsterdam CBD! Good ratings online and all have reasonable menus that $15 will nicely buffer.

    This app reminds me of Aston club - do any of you recall that app? the one where none of the bar staff knew what was going on and each time you try to use it there is so much confusion you end up paying cash and not using any credit?! Hope this one is better. Anyone used it yet?

        Looking at the comments in that thread, the codes stopped working 2 hours after posting so it didn't get enough votes to reach the front page. This deal didn't have many votes either in the first two hours.

      The referee gets their $15 applied on the first tab they open (and presumably actually spend) then close a tab - then at this point the referrer gets $15 for their next tab. So in your case, all you have to actually do to get your $15 is to open a tab and spend. Once whoever has used your referral code has done the same, the app notifies you (and I think it's listed in the app under "Points and Promos" as "$15 Referral Reward").

          Yes as long as someone uses your referral code. You can only be a referee once but you can be a referrer as many times as people use your referral code (and spend).
