Seemed like a pretty good deal to me - I switched over from Jeenee because im constantly going over my data and call caps everymonth. The closest comparison they have is unlimited calls with 3GB data for $45 per month.

    FYI, for the existing customer, you can get $50 red plan for $35 for 24 months if you select SIM Only. This can be done only on phone.

        looks like it was posted here, only found it after seeing this and did a search.

        However, walked into Vodafone last week cause I got my gf a new phone which needed a nano sim, while there we also ask for any deals for plans and the chick mention this $35 deal but would expire in 2 days. so got gf on the deal, don't know if it's extended again though.

    Vodafail had the worst reception in my area. Awful for travelling, main reason I switched to Optus with better coverage and customer service

      Optus still has only one bar to none 3G at my estate whilst Voda has full bar 4G hence my switch…
      Voda is great for travelling now with free roaming to Optus' regional towers…

    Same issue. No reception with optus in Blaxland but used to have full reception with Vodafone! Shame that the $35 deal is only for existing customers.

      Stick with Telstra for a consistent good connection. Optus and Vodafone are catching up but Telstra is still the best.

    i would suggest you test it out. I was with telstra and recently switched to voda because for me, the areas which have no reception on telstra, i get with voda. Ironic isnt it.

    Also they might still have the abn deals, not sure.

      Yes test it first with a $2 sim. Our areas are great but some outlying districts have problems like call drop outs etc.

    Or for minimum of $30 prepaid plan get 1.25 GB data, $300 calls included and unlimited sms every day. Also unlimited data and international calls (see specified countries online) on weekends. The weekend special deal ends on August 2 … but this has been extended once already, so maybe worthwhile keeping a check on to see if this is extended again … quite possible.

    Have been with Vodafone since the demise of 3; very happy with our 3 different phone plans and customer service. Not so with the broadband wifi plans though; will be looking at nbn options very soon.
