I have the G700S, and it had rave reviews too (probably by 13 year old fanboys), but it is mediocre at best. The main buttons (rated at 20 million clicks! not!!!) are the literally the cheapest bits of shit ever when one looks under the hood. Had the horrible "double-click logitech problem" twice before installing a different switch.
It almost looks the same with a different moulded plastic cover, no?

Fantastic mouse! Picked one up from JB a month ago when they had one left in stock for $100.

How is the battery life?
I bought one on the 3/7 and have only charged it once when I first unboxed it. It only has three power LEDs and no percentage in the software, but the current battery level is 2 LEDs and "good" in the software - so I'd guess it's got over 50% charge left.
I use it at work, so 9 hours a day, and it looks like it should last a month between charges.

Great mouse, using it now, very very ergonomic and the horizontal scroll is all forms of useful.
Just want to remind people that battery is not replaceable. Once the battery is dead, you may be able to convert it to a wired mouse via USB connection. I am not sure on this though.
The battery for the MX Revolution wasn't officially replaceable either, but you could easily replace it yourself by unscrewing it and swapping the li-ion battery with ones that you can buy off eBay.
From the teardown the battery is not soldered on so we should be able to replace it ourselves when the time comes.

definitely not heavy. youtube reviews all say it's very nicely weighted and light enough for everyday use.

In Device Manager, it says, "Bluetooth USB Module" not "Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator". Does that mean this mouse won't work via Bluetooth on this computer?
I found the solution. You've got to turn Bluetooth on, then it says, "Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator". Logitech forgot to mention that.

I upgraded from the Apple Magic Mouse.. can't believe how bad that mouse is.. I forced myself to use it just for the cool factor but my wrist for punsihed for it.
