What a year to be alive.
These cheap flights are getting ridiculous!
    $455 return to Seoul!

Edit: How are Cebu as an airline? I've never flown with them before

"What a year to be alive." - considering your username, this is a good sign :)

      • i wanted to buy aticker but its not that price anymore!

    • +1

I have flown a few times and no real complaints. Will keep flying with them. Pay a few bucks extra and sit at back with a little extra leg room. Other than that take warm clothes/blanket as the cabins are cold.

      • +1

haha yeh I find budget airlines are colder.
probably trying to encourage ancillary purchases like hot food and blankets :P

      • +1

Cold is an understatement. I was FREEZING on my trip to the Philippines. I really tried not to buy one of their stupid blankets, but I had no choice as I was unprepared

    • +2

The first experience with them flying from Manila to Cebu was pretty bad. The plane was 3.5 hours late or delayed for some stupid reason. We had to asked to go on a different plane because our plane wasn't going to leave even after the long delayed. I was told by the locals that Cebu pacific is the worst among all the airlines in the Philippines. BTW Cebu pacific is a re-brand of Tiger Air in the Philippines.

      • +1

Luck of the draw… i have flown half a dozen times without any big delays.

"What a year to be alive. These cheap flights are getting ridiculous!"

pity the aussie dollar has lost so much value .. stuff in korea costs us over 40% more compared to a few years ago

      • Hasn't dropped TOO much..
It used to hover around the 950-1000KRW mark.
Currently sitting at 850KRW, so the loss isn't as bad as the drop with the US$

    Thank you :)

  • I don't understand airlines.. Why is it that I can go Melbourne > Singapore > London > Rome and back for $1,164 yet if I don't want that final flight to Rome it's $1,418… $254 more for less travel on the same flights..

It's not a great deal because the layovers are huge but I am curious.

    • probably coz the flight including rome is priced as a special package

whereas if you book it without, it's adding up the cost of three separate flights

      not that surprising

    • +1

Airlines know that people want no/less connections, so they charge a premium on these routes…

    • Purchase your fares to Rome,

but don't board your flight at London.

      • U might never come back

You're one of the best posters on here. I have travelled overseas 4 times in the last 12 months, primarily because of your deals. Thanks heaps!

I must work to pay for my parent's medical bills.

        • @tendollar: again, you choose to.

        • @tendollar:

Your parents medical bills are not edwinlin88's problem, how dare you make someone feel bad?

      high fives all around

She posted a pic of a car parking in a disabled spot without having a disabled permit..

Her ordeal in the jail cell was pretty bad.. But yeah law is law. Thankfully aussie government helped her out.

  • Hey rep, anything for New Zealand in the next couple of weeks?

Awesome find - I've updated the OP.

    • beating IWTF at their own deals! Nice!

P.S: Is it just me or the whole Cebu website is down? Can't get to search for any flights on their website.

  • When I enter children, the price triples. Why is this? When I put 1 adult it was 460 and 2 adults 912 then 2 adult and 2 children 3400. 1 adult and 1 child 1600.

  • holy moly, that is cheap!!

  • +1

Am I doing something wrong? I can't see any flights cheaper than 1000+ even though I can choose the cheap flights on the first page. The search results page is all normal exp pricing.

  • +1

The prices increase on the next page when I click on the cheapest dates…

  • yep.. nothing less than $900+

  • +3

it seems that the deals have suddenly been removed. I'll wait a a few hours, and if they still are not back then I will mark this as expired.

    • It is now 8:09, and the flights are available again.

  • Hey,
I'm trying to book a flight from Sydney to Dubai on the 13th Oct for $442 but when I choose Select Flight and it takes me to to the search page, the cheapest it shows is $972. Are the flights booked out already or something?

  • Hey Rep, any to Lax in december ??? Travelling from sydney!!

  • +1

I'm so jealous of the people in jobs that allow them to book these flights with ease. :( sucks being in a job where your leave needs to be in minimum 6 months in advance if you want any chance of getting it. Oh well. Great deal again for those who can enjoy it!

  • Almost 24h layover's for the seoul flights…no thanks. Good for those who want to do that I guess.

  • +1

Is Manila airport as bad as they say? I read on the internet that it was voted the worst (and most chaotic) airport in the world.

    • It is a terrible airport. I would rate it even lower than Phnom Penh.

      • It is an absolute disaster. Chatoic and mayhem. Get there ridiculously early, I mean hours, and you will still almost miss your flight.

      • Phnom penh wasn't so bad. At least it was small and compact I guess. Only funny part was seeing cattle road the streets near the airport - culture shock.

        • +1

The new one is pretty decent, I was referring to the old one, pre 2013… Manila is worse than that!

    • Depends which terminal. The new one is not bad at all.

    • It was ok when I was there last year, and will be even better since the airport fees are now incorporated in the tickets. (A big problem used to be big queues to pay these personally)

      • I was there in April and it was a long wait to pay airport fees.

        • Now incorportated in ticket price. Older tickets sold without it still have to pay at the airport.

    • It's fine until you step outside, sometimes its quicker to walk to a public street and get a taxi

  • I'm in struggle street with finding the flights that connect to the rest of europe? In the topic there is a link, that doesn't help matters.

    • Check Skyscanner.

  • I am not knocking the deal, however when I have gone through this website and made a booking (it ended up going thru STA Travel) I was not able to pick a seat (unlike going direct through the airline). Due to a dicky back I need an aisle seat so that I can get up and down a lot during the flight. I thought that I could pick the seat later by going to the airline website and 'manage your booking' but it would not recognise the booking reference. And so I am prepared to pay the extra and go direct to the airline for bookings.

  • Hi Rep,
Any upcoming flights to Fiji in Dec 2015?
