    Wait for the usual comments from PC users that Apple Macs are overpriced & Windows is better than OS X.
    You can set your watch….

    I forgot to mention that the label 'Sheep' will also be applied to Apple users, coming from the '85 percenters'

  • Actually, the 21.5" iMac is darn tempting.

  • Will i be able to use my 10% student discount on top?

      Usually NO.

    For those looking to buy apple laptops, i suggest look at the apple refurb store. You get good discount, i've seen upto 30%, and you get 15 day money back with no questions asked along with apple 1 year warranty.
    I've purchased few laptops over the last two months. No defects, no scratches, no dents, good as brand new. They don't come in original boxes, you get plain white box packaging.

    • Thanks for the info. I am currently looking for a Macbook pro.
      I had a look at the refurbished ones and only saw 15% discount. Would they sometimes just drop down 30% or do they only do it for old ones that were released long ago?

      • The don't drop the prices on the refurb store i.e. the listed price there remains constant. You do see models come and go, and some of the models will be 30% of listed price. I bought a 2014 laptop model for 1350, the 2015 model sells for 1800 - thats a 25% discount. The 2015 mbpr 13" model is selling at $300 discount. Depending on laptop release date, you'll see different discounts.

  • Got the same question: can we combine this discount with the student one?

  • Any build to order disc? As the deals normally excludes it, :(.

  • Any Skylake?

      Not yet but this could be a sign they're coming soon, DS could be trying to get rid of old stock :D

    Officeworks will beat it by 5% if OW is not cheaper.

    • OW has dropped price, no deals

      • OW was .20c more when i checked a few hours ago. would that still qualify for 5% beat? haha

        • As long as it's more expensive, that qualifies too. OW will be cheaper either way.

        • @vonNeuman:

          I'm going to buy a MacBookPro Retina 13, and I'm not sure about which company is the most trustable. What do you thing? Do you recomend OW?

          @josepet:

          If bought locally, you can just take it to Apple if you have a problem, but I think Macbooks have international warranty(don't quote me on that).

          @josepet:

          if your mac has problem, you can bring it directly to apple store. OW usually has the cheapest price.
