It is one of the highest end graphics cards available, able to push 40fps 4k on most Triple A Titles.
I wouldn't necessarily buy it at $900, but here i am sitting with a Powercolor 6970. Mind you, the 6970 cost me $340, but is still running Triple A's at 60fps 1080p after 4 or so years.
Lol I upgraded my 6970 2months ago.no way would it run AAA titles at 1080p 60fps unless you hitting it with med settings.
Well, yeah. Medium setting with lower Anti-aliasing etc. Some Triple A's from a couple years ago run ultra @ 60fps, but by no means games like WItcher, GTA and Max Payne at ultra. Point being that for a card that is 4 years old, it runs pretty impressively with modern standards.

My Dad paid over 2k for a CRT 17" monitor and 4k or so for a desktop in the early 90's, he gave it when command & conquer red alert came out and I use to be able to eat my breakfast before it finished loading the intro.

Been running sli since 3 years ago. Without SLI I can't play any game on 60fps since my monitor is 1440p :)
Dammit I just bought a second hand Titan X, otherwise I'd be all over this.
Buy one anyway. Can't call yourself hardcore until you have a 980 Ti as dedicated physx processor
