This is my first bargain post, so let me know (constructively if possible) if I need to fix anything about it.

For anyone that is after an uneven number of aquarium tickets or just one ticket to spend a day talking to the fish (weirdo), the Space Hotel on 380 Russell St in Melbourne has $22 adult tickets.

The tickets are $38 over the counter at the aquarium, though online you can book in advance for $30.40. There are also often the two for one deals if needing an even number of tickets, such as here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/204603

When I asked how long they would be this price, I was told by the lady at the desk that it should be ongoing.

  Just to throw in another comment, there's some sort of discount if you flash your Myki at the desk. Probably only useful if you are in a rush and find yourself in the line at the aquarium.

  Good for Ashley Madison subscribers who may be going on dates by themselves for a while, otherwise the BOGOF deals are better value.

  never going there during school holidays. Place is tiny, overpriced and parking is hard to find. Had to queue up for 20min out front before going into the crowd fest.
