Thanks to Jenni from EB for this great info.

Fountain Gate Spotlight is selling Wii with remote, nunchuck and wii sports for $260. Sales assistant said on Sunday there was about a weeks worth left. Selling under cost price after a promotion that was not popular.

We bought one - it's g reat fun.

Also Wii Fit plus was on sale at Big W for $118, $159 at EB.

I think before xmas there was a post about spotlight selling these, so might be worth a quick call to your local spotlight to see if they have stock.

Sorry Guys it might only be at Fountain Gate, but I guess its still worth a call to your local store. The Fountain Gate and Bayswater are very big spotlight stores.

    I bought a Wii for $260 from Spotlight Bayswater on boxing day after seeing the post on Ozbargain - great bargain, have enjoyed playing it!

    I am surprised that at that price, Spotlight is still left with any stock since Boxing Day.

    To answer the question, Spotlight and Wii, I am guessing. Spotlight had an offer few months back for made to order blinds and curtains for more that certain amount (I don't remember but was around $1500) they were offering a Wii free.

    These Wiis would probably be from that offer.

    I know as I bought the material from them at that time (around Aug - Sep 09). They had said to me than that the free Wii is only if you get the curtains made by them.

    lols my cuz work @ spotlight and the wii offers are for staff they were selling for 240$ and a plasma mvm tv 42" for 400$ trying to get 20$ profit from customers

      I don't want to say too much in case someone decides I or one of my friends at head office should lose our job over it, but you've got your details a bit wrong there, Ignition. I'll just say that $260 is still a lot less than Spotlight paid for them; they're just trying to cut their losses.

    I got a couple from Bayswater Spotlight and the lady told me they had about 60 left. They are not advertising them or don't have them out on display, you have to go to the layby area. Snap up this great bargain while you can.
