I don't think you need a Coles Mobile for these.So when I ask for a 'ZTE Fit please' at the Coles counter they won't give me a 'WTF' look?

The local Coles here has a counter out the front which sells mobile phones and sims (along with cigarettes). What's the difference?.
Coles did a "Mobile store" pilot before as well…it was a short-lived foray. They created kiosks in certain stores dedicated to selling phones/accessories, but they were disbanded soon after.

Just picked up a Vodafone $30 starter kit for the $10 from the local Coles supermarket. They are still $10 and it's not just the Coles mobile stores that it's available from seems to be any Coles supermarket that sells Vodafone SIM starter kits. Just take it to the counter and it will scan as $10.
