  • any samsung note 3/4/5 good deal?

    • +1

you will have to wait for an arsecode then

      • +1

but this is not bad. better than the combo deal with the watch (the watch isnt that good anyway)

    • +2

Yes it is for the 3gb ram/ 32gb storage model.

The other Mate 7's listed are for 2gb ram variant in silver which is lower specced.

  • Good phone, but it looks like only the Chinese version will receive Android 6.0 update and you wont be able to use other launcher.
Please correct me if I am wrong as I am looking at this phone as well.

    • Where did you get this information from ?

    • i believe you got wrong info. huawei not just small chinese manuf.
yes everyone has their own skin or launcher but with this you can just install nova etc.
some unknown Chinese brand phone, maybe you cant.

  • How hardy are these phones? Had a look at DSE store in CBD, and the display model is broken…

Also, has anyone got a comment on battery life? My last Huawei phone had a battery which died after 6 months. Replacement battery lasted 7 (ie until out of warranty).

  • P8 is 559 too

    • For your info:

Purchase a new Huawei P8 between today and 31 December 2015, and we’ll give you one free screen replacement for any screen damage within the first 12 months of purchase*

      *terms and conditions apply

      From https://www.facebook.com/HuaweiDeviceAustralia?fref=nf Oct 12

      • Note: "doesn't apply to Mate 7"

      • Anyone know ow if there's a deal with the p8 and the watch? Also it appears there were Android Wear notification issues at launch with the p8 but I can't find any info of them being resolved.

  • do you mean 5x $100 and 1x $50, cos why would you buy $450 of vouchers for $495?

    • +1

no. OP is correct. you pay $450 you get vouchers with 10% more value ie $495

      • ahh, i read it the wrong way , done that twice tonight now.

  • Is it correct to say that the gold version doesn't include the 700mhz 4G band, while the silver one does?

Bit of a big omission if that is the case (and a real shame because the Mate7 is a bit of a dark horse quasi-flagship with some massive battery life)

  • is this a dual sim version ?
