        • @jsavory:
          Thank you :) I think I'll go the 6 as well :)

        • @OzBragain:
4WD mats are the best - but yes they're bulky as.
Although mine are the fairly compact Blackwolf type with decent compression bags… still, you'll never see me camping on a non self inflatable.

I have the best of both worlds… Oztent stretcher (King Goanna) with a Blackwolf Mega Deluxe as a topper. I prefer it over my bed. Fair bit of coin though for that set up (2 adults), and now i'm allowed to get a new tent because the stretchers were too long for our tent.

        • @konazz:

All a matter of preference I guess. Might be the best of both worlds for you but I can fit a lot of beer in the space that 2 stretchers and 4wd mats will take up.

The lack of baffles in the 4wd mats means that once the fabric and foam delaminate they end up turning into a balloon, offer no support and are horrible to sleep on. Most people (myself included) don't follow the instructions and store them rolled up (compressed)…after a while the foam will no longer expand and the big bulky mat is no longer self inflating.

We switched to Exped Downmats a few years ago. They're a pain to inflate but are by far the most comfortable camping mat I've used. Two of these and a hiking mat for our little one take up less space in the vehicle than one 4wd mat. This setup works well for my family doesn't mean it'll work for everyone.

WHAT! Most random comment on Ozb in a long time. haha. Where did that come from?

        • Pretty sure he misread the original post and thought it was Sony (ie a Japanese Company) responding, hence the strange reference…

  • Anyone have any luck using this code for the Good Guys? It's supposed to be a selected retailer according to the Cash Rewards email I got, but the code is not working for me.

    • They're not listed on the eBay's sale landing page. Probably just an error in listing from Cash Rewards.

      • +2

Yet if you check the original email that eBay sent, they say at the top right of the email

save at Target, Masters, SurfStitch, BIG W, BCF, The Good Guys & more!

Seems someone at eBay screwed up a bit!

        • Probably copy pasted from one of the previous deals :S

  • Is anyone else having trouble on ebay. For the last three days every time I put something in the cart and get ready to purchase it says ,"page not responding"

    • +4

      Just eBay "new computer"

    • +1

Yes, for a long time too. Over 1/2 hour completely unavailable.

  • Bought a Swarovski ornament and a set of Pyrex bowls that were already on sale from Peters of Kensington, so saved about $55. Given Swarovski is almost never on a general discount like this I was quite pleased.

    • Link? What did you buy?

  • Good laptop for the specs and price

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ASUS-R552JK-CN089H-Notebook-/1218…

Refurbished tho comes down to $760 FHD i7 8GB GTX850m

  • White plastic storage containers, 38L for $4 at BCF

  • DC shoes and apparel with further 20% off if you buy 2 plus free shipping - http://www.ebay.com.au/sme/dcshoes_official_store/Extra-20-o…

So that's additional 20% off, on top of the 20% coupon and 3.5% cashrewards and free shipping omg omg omg.

Limited sizes left for the shoes and just remember they are US not UK sizes. I realised too late and had to go back in to buy one size up. :(

    • For teenagers?

    • Thanks! Bought some hitops for my toddler

Target removed all of their Lego from their Ebay store

Come on now, was that really necessary?

  • If I go to cashreward and went to Target website, I can still see Pictionary and Monopoly Empire still "in-Stock".

ebay Target and Target online website have different stocks ?

  • Please do one for Dell! Any good discount available for Dell (aside from using eBays CashRewads of 3.5%)?

Thanks heaps, just got a Black Series Force FX Darth Vader Lightsaber for $161.31 (including 3.5 cashrewards cashback)

    from OnlyOnline http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/new-star-wars-the-black-series-da…

    • If I were to buy something like this, my gf would lose her sh*t.

      • The force is not strong with this one I'm afraid

      • Only if you paid full price right?

Or told her what you paid ;)

  • Some Lego has popped up on the target site, seems to be full price or close to though

  • Cannot complete checkout with supercheap auto on ebay.

I'm guessing they don't want to be a part of this deal.

I've tried 20 times to buy some Penrite gas oil and it keeps coming up with the error "These items are not available. They may have been purchased already, or the listings have expired."

Pressing the browsers back button at this stage takes me back to the paypal "confirm and pay" page, with a header message stating "We're sorry, we can't ship your order to the address shown on the previous page. We can ship to the address shown below, or you can click Change to choose a different address".

Pressing "confirm and pay" yields the same initial error message.

Pity, because the deal made the oil $31.99 per 5L, a year 2002 price.

    • Same here.

Getting the same error on BCF.

They will fix it once the sale is over.

      • try changing your address to another suburb, I had to do that
for it to work…even if I wanted to cliick and collect in my suburb.

  • some rare legos are re listed, from sellers that offer this 20% deal.
example, the london bridge and opera house.
they have rrp but i dont think we will see target or bigw offering those old lego with discount on their stores (and usually they dont stock older lego anyway)

    • its not legos, its lego

      • Plural form of lego is not Legos? Maybe lego sets? Apologies

        • its all good, the plural of lego is still lego. American TV often call it legos, but the official plural is lego.

  • I keep getting on Masters and other stores

  • Is anyone knows when Ebay will resolve their website issue ?

    • +3

      Does me isn't knowing.

    • When the sale is over.

  • Anyone know a good knife set to get? Not interested in like 300+ but would like a good one for daily use. Would be good to get a knife block too but not needed.

  • Been trying to check out with some Masters sourced lights for the past hour and keep getting error messages stating "item may already have been purchased" etc. Anyone know how to get round this?

    • I got the same error message. Ended up choosing different store for click and collect and paying separately for items in my cart that seems to have worked.

  • This is bull… I have tried to checkout with Cashrewards and also only through Ebay itself… none of it worked. It kept telling me "these items are not available. They may have been purchased already, or the listings have expired."…. grrrr

  • Bought with discount but on my PayPal account the amounts are all pre-discount??
