Is there anything good in there. Everytime I have had a look at the Frenzy sales, I'm always a little underwhelmed when I see the prices of the products.

    • +3

      Like clockwork :)

As of 1PM, 5 of 19 ) ClickFrenzy deals (26.3% have made the front page which is about in range with past sales.

      • But they're hyping it up to be the sale that beats all sales, or something to that effect (Did you see that Lady/(Actor?) on Today Tonight). Where if you use the OzB search function or regularly check OzB there is nothing that is out of the ordinary.

        • They are not true professional ozB'ers unlike us, thus they hype it up and think it is a bargain.

  • +6

Click Frenzy: Denial of service attack on a bunch of under powered web servers.

    • +2

It's the third year they are running it and hopefully the retailers have better prepared this time.

      • +3

There better be scenes like this…

      • I don't think it has the draw it did year 1. In fact if it wasn't for OzBargain I would not have heard of it.

It certainly looks like a lot of retailers went meh and abandoned click frenzy.

    Hi guys,
Godfreys are participating, up to 55% off Hoover / Vax products + lots more
Click Frenzy deals are live now
    http://www.godfreys.com.au/on-sale-now
    Cheers

    • Are you participating in ClickFrenzy officially as I don't see Godfreys in the list of retailers?

Also, when Googling, I found this Godreys ClickFrenzy link.

      • Ah nevermind. I found Godfreys towards the top. The non-alphabetical order threw me off.

    • I was going to post this at the end, but since Hoover has been mentioned… make sure you read some reviews before buying! (Not a bagged vacuum - with decent suction - that doesn't require constant filter changes in sight!!)

Where's JV? We need an obligatory 'Any bargains?' comment, lets be honest most of these click frenzy deals each year are pretty lame and not worth the effort, if you can in fact even get the web sites to load.

    • Lets hope its better this year!

  • The Mighty Ape sale has gone live also:
    https://www.mightyape.com.au/sales/8455/Click-Frenzy-Sale-20…

I had a look around, but didn't find anything crazy cheap that I was after.

    • you can use promotional code MISSYOUTOO to save $10 (min order $20).

  • Anyone heard any deals from Vision Direct I am looking at getting a pair of Ray-Bans but holding out for this sale

  • ESET are offering 40% off for Click Frenzy https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/220174

  • +1

If anyone was to get an extra $10 off Vision Direct message me and send me through your referral code as I am purchasing a pair of sunglasses today

Are we expecting any deals on ebay stores? Love to use my voucher …..

    • I wouldn't imagine so (since eBay aren't involved in ClickFrenzy).

    • Ditto. Was hoping to use my ebay voucher on a kick ass Xbox One deal.

      • Yeah it's that or an SSD for me. I only want an XB1 for Tomb Raider, then sell it.

    • edit; wrong thread.

  • Not sure if there's any bargains but Lenovo are doing Click Frenzy with "up to 50% off"
    http://www3.lenovo.com/au/en/deals/click-frenzy/

  • Extra 25% store wide excludes giftcards & appliances.

  • Tarocash additonal 25% off - discount already applied
    http://www.tarocash.com.au/Sale.aspx?pl&s=2312

  • According to 2xu website their sale is live now aswell for 24 hours!

  • Witchery 25% off store wide, might be able to stack on already reduced items.

    http://www.witchery.com.au/

  • Feels like their shitty website is going to have a bit of déjà vu, it's pretty slow to load… :)

  • Pretty disappointing sale. Best is asos 30% off. Was really hoping for 30% off everything at surfstitch not just sale items.

  • +4

I feel like the Click Frenzy event is for normies, not OzBargainers.

    50 % off overpriced goods isn't enough. :/

Wake me when there's something for 90+ % off. ><

  • Thanks OP for the summary. Very helpful!

  • I posted the Click Frenzy of Amcal. See my post. Thank OP for the summary.

PS: The 20% OFF deal is expired.

  • We created a similar list, and included the coupon codes you need too: http://www.finder.com.au/click-frenzy

  • Cantebury coupon message at checkout:
Code: CLICKFRENZY Order Discount: 40% Off selected products

didnt apply to the items i wanted :(

  • I can't find any store with the netgear Arlo security camera kit (2 cameras) for sale. I don't expect as good a deal as earlier ($375 +$50 cashback +$100 eBay voucher), but I'd like it below or around $400.

Despite being sold in many stores (Harvey Norman, jb hifi, officeworks, appliances online, good guys, Bing Lee, centrecom etc) only good guys has a discount… Which is a whopping $30. Putting it at $470 total.

If anyone finds a store with this on sale, please let me know. Although I don't think I've ever bought anything from one of these hyped up click frenzy sales (and this year is looking to not be an exception).

Edit: actually that's not true, it's still $498 but with a $30 gift card. Bleh.

    • +1

Computer alliance has it for $395

      • Cheers. I ordered instead if waiting for another ebay deal even though I might regret it later :) I did check computer alliance earlier, but I just went through their website where it's listed as $495.

  • Roxy is also participating - up to 70% off.
    https://www.roxyaustralia.com.au/clickfrenzy

    And don't forget your cashback..

  • +2

if any if you got a cellarmaster gift voucher from woolies, it DOES work on clickfrenzy deals (despite it saying it can't).

Just paid $71 for 12 bottles of wine.

  • Well that was all a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a good laptop deal, but Lenovo didn't even include their Y50 range.

Is this "the" event for the year or are Black Friday sales usually better even with the exchange rates?

    • Ebay sales are the new clickFrenzy/ blackFriday/ boxingDay sales.

      • I was hoping there'd be an ebay sale in here. Need a new phone desperately

  • +4

    Underwhelming once again.

Feels very much like ClickFrenzy has become just an advertising ploy and a way to help large retailers sell clearance/jump items no one is buying.

On the plus side, picked up a whole bunch of cheap books from Booktopia. It's been about the only clickfrenzy "deal" worth bothering with for me for the past few times.

    • So you didn't like the 'advertising ploy selling clearance/junk items' but go on to say you've bought a whole bunch of cheap books (clearance/junk items) from Booktopia?? Obviously it's done its job.

I beg to differ and personally picked up heaps of decent stuff.

It's like fishing; you need to know where to look. Below is my catch of the top of my head:

2 x $2 Reading Cinema Tickets (Usually $37 at counter)
Breakfast and Coffee for 2 $10.20 (Usually $26)
3 Course Dinner with wine for 2 $55 (Usually $79)
Quiksilver Bag RRP $99 and T-shirt $60del (30% off sale items)
Slacks from ASOS $52del (30% off)

      Also got 5-6% Cashrewards credit.

  • I wonder why Living Social is not part of this?

  • Well this is pretty farcical. Next time won't even bother checking for any bargains Click Frenzy is on. Waste of time.

  • SurfStitch, Oroton, ASOS, Lorna Jane and The Just Group will be extending their Click Frenzy offers for another day (through Thursday 19/11).

    • Asos doesn't seem to be the case. Code doesn't work anymore.

      • Thanks, marked it expired. Must have been extended to 4am 19/11 from 4am 18/11 for ASOS.

    • House - until Friday, midnight I think.

  • Looking for M&S - tried the code on their store and it didn't work. Has click frenzy finished?

    • +1

The code never worked. I pinged CF and M&S but they had no idea. Maybe I'll see if they can offer OzBargain a code.

  • quicksilver promo code for 10% off is "extra10" works on sale items too.
