NCLICK15

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 64GB Gold is on sale at the Samsung site as part of Click Frenzy.
$1019.15 is the lowest it has been for Australian stock with Samsung warranty.

EDIT: Reference to Cashrewards removed from title. Strictly speaking the Samsung Click Frenzy coupon isn't available on Cashrewards, so it may not be valid.
It doesn't hurt to try using Cashrewards for 4% cashback.

The lowest price I've seen for local stock is at Mobileciti for $1129 delivered but this has been on back-order.
The next lowest has been at Exceltek for $1149 + $11.95 delivery.

  • CBA shot me down for one of those credit cards with a "free" $250 if you spend $500. With one of those, I probably wouldn't have been able to resist this one, lucky I guess.

Wow, this is got to be one quiet release. Everyone who was complaining about storage size and lack of colours may start to complain a little less… but probably won't.

I'm one of the complainers, I still think it's kinda lacklustre for the price, no IR Blaster? No USBC? No MicroSD? No removable battery? Sure it's pretty but the audacity of not releasing a 32gb initially without an SD slot is mind boggling.

They've really taken the flagship out of the Note line with this last one

If there was a 128GB model I could almost forgive the lack of micro SD, but 64GB only leaves you about 52GB after OS, not enough for me!

    is the galaxy edge+ 64gb a good deal at 1299 RRP -15%?

I don't know which one to buy between the edge+ and note5

    • This might be useful:
      http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=7467&idPhone2=…

I like the look of the Edge+ but I've always used a screen protector and case on my phones, so I'm not a fan of curved screens (e.g. on my iPhone 6S).
That's why I ended up with the Note 5.

You also don't get the Stylus with the Edge+ if that's something you'd like.

      • Do they give you a bit more battery with the edge, without a stylus? They've got about 2 cubic CM more space to work with, that could be near 30% more battery considering the size of the things.

        • It looks like it's a "Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery" in both.

The battery endurance rating for the Edge+ is 2 hours less than the Note 5 apparently (83 hours vs. 85 hours).

  • The 32 was listed on all phones.com.au for 899 for ages now back up to 999. Any idea why the price has gone up for the phones? Little disappointed as wanted to purchase with the 15% except it comes to over $900 with 4%.

    • The AUD tanking would be to blame for that methinks

    • It was only on special for September, then they extended it for October.

  • My understanding is that a retailer such as all phones would have bought stock and can sell at the same price. I remember price of iPhone went up after Christmas!

Ah… I bought this from CashRewards…. here goes hoping.

EDIT: I have just received a Tracking Receipt for $47.96 so it probably works.

    • Did you use the NCLICK15 code?

      $47.96 is 4% of $1199.

      • Yes.

I noticed that too. It took 4% of $1,199. My tax invoice final cost is $1,019.15 as per shown above.
