        I don't think DSE sell the 6D. Also there was no deal on the 70D, so it's only some cams that are/were on special.

      Damn, dude! Your comment got me to call different DSE stores here in Adelaide and a guy in the one closest to me, the one in West Lakes shopping mall, told me there are only two left in whole Adelaide and they're in Marion shopping center. I quickly left home 16:50pm (their closing time today being 17:30 and I live in Henley Beach area), with fingers crossed, and I got there 17:15pm (I couldn't believe I made it there within 25 minutes, despite the afternoon peak hour) only to be informed that 'they're sold out and nothing is left anywhere in Adelaide, sorry'. Dick, never again! :(

    Nikon 3200 tlk or Canon 700d slk? they don't have tlk for 700d but price is $249 only, so it would be $149 after cashback, meanwhile Nikon 3200 tlk is $249 (cash back?)

      700D definitely better deal. There's no cashback on the D3200. However if you can find a D5500 SLK for $447 less $100 cashback then that would be the best out of the 3.

      To be honest, both are great for the price. You are going to get different responses to the same question from different people.

      I will say the Canon, but I understand and respect that the next person might say the Nikon.

    Went JB Hi Fi North Sydney store asked to match price for the canon d700 tlk at 399 with a dick smith receipt and was turned down. The guys was shocked and saying you know why DS are doing that!

        Make sure you get rid of any important information from your receipt.
        A scan/copy of the receipt is your proof of purchase, and is needed for cashback. Wouldn't want anybody to steal your cashback.

    Share price was always going to fall with their business model. Nothing major, but they will be burning the old stock and I reckon they will look to move to a mainly online run business in the long run (as with most, but DSE will be sooner I reckon).

    Got a 700D so I'm very happy. Can get a start in photography which I've been keen to do for a while now.

    picked up a copy of gta v (xb1) from Sunshine.

    apparently no controllers left, stores pretty empty. There might be a few copies of gta v as the staff asked me how many copies i want.

    only bought one, i plan to leave some for others. Best to call first an avoid being disappointed. Didn't see any other games worth buying

    If anyone finds a controller in the west can you buy an extra one willing to pickup and pay a little extra, cheers

          Razer DA Chroma, Deathstalkers, Kraken USB was still original price, I think all the Razer stuff on sale (if any)must have sold out. Only gaming gear available was Roccat stuff, got a Kone Pure for $18. There were also the Arvo and Kulo 7.1 for around $20, good price! But not for selling on ebay due to lack of profit.

    These dicks just brodened the entire camera inventory at Dick Smith Robina. One of them seemed to be a Dick staff member as he had the keys and were taking them out direct one by one from the cabinets. They filled an entire shopping trolley up and left nothing.

    Just got a display 700d minus battery for $150. So hoping cash back still works cause a $50 700d is pretty good.
    Just need to chase up a battery, missus has a 550 so hopefully I don't need any other cords or anything.

    Got Last of Us (PS3), W2K14 (PS3) and Sims 4 Limited Edition (PC) for $10 each at Joondalup WA around 10am. Last copies of each I think. 3 large boxes of games left, quite a few Grand Turismo 6, and a few Black Ops 2. Didn't pay much attention to the PS4 games.

    Staff very helpful, said they had a line outside of shop before opening, cameras went first few minutes. Only had one PS4 for $299 which had already gone.
