    I picked up the following at Arndale SA:

    They had plenty of other cheap games on PS3, Xbox 360, Vita, WiiU, Xbox One and PS4. I didn't think to check the camera stock though. It was very quiet when I went at 10am, so they may still have stock.

    Hello ozbargain cop. Was far cry 20 bucks? What else did you pick up.

    Ps only game available that was worth the price was probably sunset overdrive day one for 20.

    David Jones Sydney CBD- No 700D or D3200. Saw the last D3200 bought in front of me. Wouldn't sell me the displays because it was still an active product supposedly.

    Just bought a display Sony hx60v at neutral bay
    Bargain camera for $99, was $300. Tossed up between this and the Panasonic tz40 over the last few weeks, but this sale made up my mind for me.

    Guy said they only found out about the sale last night, and that it's an old stock clearance to free up money to buy new stock.

    Apparently a dozen people waiting outside in the morning picked up the canon 700ds

        Orange - sorry, it was the only one in stock (display model but in a locked case so I'm not complaining). They had a Nikon 3200 body only and that was it. I believe Goulburn had three 700d single lens kits and has sold at least 2.

      I think you'll only get $100 cashback - you need to spend an additional $200 on Canon products to get the double cashback.

        That's what I thought too - but when I went through the process the automated form said I qualified for the $200 cash back. Oh well, even if it was an error and they only approve $100 I'm a happy camper. $149 or $49, either way it's still a bargain.

          @Stix: Yes I did at first, but I realised my mistake (I bought a Nikon compact on the same receipt, not a Canon) so I immediately corrected my response before submitting. There may have been a glitch in the system and it somehow failed to update my response. Will probably be picked up when they check the receipt. No matter.

        Yeah, the George St. store seemed stingy on clearance items' range and price at lunch time. The Sydney Westfield store across the road was having a proper clearance according to this deal. There we were hardly any cheap previous generation console exclusives but I got Xbox 360 Soulcalibur VI for $10 for some button mashing fun.

    Just went to Northpark Adelaide. Only PC games were Sims, Starcraft II expansion, and WoW pack. Asked about Logitech gamepad and gaming keyboard - both not on sale. I'm so very disappointed now. Also very few console games in the shop.

    None in Brisbane, two D3200 bodies at Robina and maybe one at Pacific fair. Canon 700D also cleared in Brisbane both David Jones and Dick Smith Stores. If you call them they will tell you stores show stock but thats the morning and not reflective of the actual store stock. Bugger.

      There was plenty of skylanders and disney infinity at the Civic store. A handful of games for each console, but no new titles. Lots of Sims titles for PC.
      All the SLR's were gone when I was there, except the Nikon D3300 which wasnt inc in the sale.

        I went to melbourne, Victoria Garden's Store. The box is labelled at 89, but when they scan it they have to manually fox the price to be $20. There is no such thing as stock at 89, they have to decrease the price

          @slosh: they had on on a table full of games on sale. It had a red sticker on it saying $20. I took that empty box to the counter, they went to the back storage room and got an unoppened one. After they scanned it, it showed up as 89, but the lady manually decreased the price to $20 to match the display box with the red label.

    I went to JB Hifi for price match as DSE in Adelaide CBD had none left and I didn't want to drive out to the burbs where they had some left.

    JB spent ages trying to get through to DSE and finally I ended up with a price match of $399.- for the D700 twin lens kit. There is going to be one happy child this Christmas! :)

          I went to JB Hifi Rundle MAll in ADL. I think I was just really lucky: DSE at Gawler Place had none left but said that Marion DSE still had stock. When I went to JB they tried calling Marion to confirm the price but couldn't get through to them. I told them to try Gawler Place as they can see Marion stock, so they did and GP confirmed that Marion still had two. I reckon if they had actually managed to get through to Marion I would have missed out as they were probably gone by then…
