    The 55-300 lens is worth $289 which I brought at the eBay black friday sale $232.

    Definitely worth it if you want to build up an entry level DSLR kit. Get a 50mm or 35mm and you're sorted.

    Managed to get a PS TV for $30 and Playstation Stand for $8.xx
    Checked the price on the PS4 controller, DS4 charge station and G29 Steering Wheel they were normal.
    Lego Batman 3 on the PS4 was $20.00

    Also grabbed the D3200 as well :) These are selling FAST! I got the first one at my local.

    How long does click and collect at dicks take? I just ordered an iPad with my DS gift cards and I would like to get my hands on it before the company collapses.

      If you call them, you they should be able to action it almost straight away if you did the Click and Collect order via the DSE website.
      eBay can take a day or two.

          Be careful about waiting too long. If they go into liquidation, you lose that item and just become a creditor. I would pick it up ASAP.

        Canon vs Nikon. Since I own both, here is my suggestion:

        Try both in a store, see which one you like better. Also, if your friends and/or family members own Canon or Nikon SLRs/lenses, you will most likely buy that brand.

        In terms of videos, Canon DSLRs tend to be better (though the gap is closing). However, you get a DSLR mainly for the photos. Photos, Nikon DSLRs have better dynamic range normally. Low light performance and focusing speed, it depends on the models you are comparing. Canon ones tend to have slightly more CPU speed (on the equivalent models).

        It is best not to spend too much on kit lenses. While they are good value for money, they are not that great to be honest.

        Between Canon 700D and Nikon D3200, I would recommend Canon 700D. These entry level DSLRs cut down on control buttons / dials, the touch screen on 700D will help make things easier. The articulated LCD screen is also quite handy. At this price, you cannot go wrong with either.

      There was one at Broadway - I walked in at 10:30 and checked the display cabinet. I found it hiding in the corner, just as the guy walked out with the price list saying "Wow, cameras for $248"!

      There aren't any left now, though :)

    Picked up 5 different vita titles from Fairfield, still a few more left from memory. They had 16gb vita memory card bundled with 6 games for $5 as well but no stock :(

    Still a pretty good haul! Might be worth giving your store a call to check for specific item stock before rocking up. Didn't check for the Nikon so they might still have it as well. Good luck!
