Cheers Oztangsta! Bought 22 games for $45 earlier, hoping they honour it considering I spent a fairly decent amount. Hasn't been cancelled yet, so here's hoping!
Wow - I'm gutted - I only got an Xbox 360 a few weeks ago (@ $260!)
after spending most of the day trying to buy two games on the overloaded EBGames website then finding out I can't use my EBGames voucher to buy them, I looked for an alternative seller and JB Hifi popped up.
I was really please to be able to put Alien Isolation ($10), Need For Speed most wanted ($5), Splinter Cell Blacklist ($5) then I noticed a bunch of $1 games, so I added Gears of War Judgement, Metal Gear Rising, and the two XCOM games. After being fleeced by the EBGames site I started working through my basket to see what I could click&collect locally only for all the games except Alien Isolation to become unavailable.
Pretty annoyed now. I'm going to blame the OP for posting the deal! ;)
You should have went straight to delivery @ only $1 per game. Mucking around with local pickup for each game slowed you down and you lost.
You paid $260 for a x360 in late 2015? I paid that much way back in 2009 for a brand new console and games bundle!Re: the console: Yep, from Target - I knew it wasn't a good deal but it was the best price around at the time (my birthday).
Re: the games: If I hadn't just spent $50 on credit card for two games at EBGames when I have a $40 voucher for there, then I would have been much more trigger happy at JBHifi.
I take it you don't trust 2nd hand consoles?
PS3 and X360 consoles go for <$100 on gumtree/ebay.Strangely I didn't consider the PS3. Perhaps 'cos I already had a few X360 games.
I had bought a console off a mate that emigrated, but it died as soon as I reformatted the hard drive.
And I have the impression X360s suddenly dying was a common occurrence - certainly among my mates.If it had been entirely down to me, I would probably have plumbed for an Xone which was on a Dick Smith special for about $120. But it was a birthday present and I only get about an hour each night to play (when everyone else has gone to bed).
I would have replied sooner but I'm limited to five posts per day.

My vast library of unfinished games sit on the shelf collecting dust, but I do try to play it from time to time.
Finished Diablo 3 last night, it was a thrilling conclusion.
By the time I get into current gen, the consoles will be <$ 200 new.
Enjoy the cheap games library you can amass on your new console at a fraction of the cost of current gen.
should have got Xbox One with few extra $ atleast it will be supported longer than Xbox 360!

So all 1 Dollar games have been removed for the PS3 and Xbox , however the other titles such as GTA IV for $10 on PS3 still remains , this sort of comforts me as i believe there was no pricing error , or GTA IV and other fairly new titles would of been removed also.

So before staff could pick up the games for the online orders made, you took them, so there might not be any left for the ones which were ordered? Terrible..
They're cancelling everyones orders, mine shows up as cancelled go in now and get them
Maybe you were too late ordering? Mine order still shows as in progress, one of the games went on back-order (I doubt I'll get that one. I guess I was too late).
It will be very disappointing if legitimate orders are not filled because terrible people spoiled it for those that got in early. Hope karma comes back and bites you on the ass…
I have a shipped notification for X-COM. I ordered God of War III about half an hour before XCOM, yet it remains in progress.
I have one shipped, FIFA 14, and rest are in progress as store pickup.
Every $1 game is in progress.
This might be a long wait.
XCOM was one buck. As noted, I have shipped status on that.
I can't imagine they ship one game at a time. However it makes no sense that you pay delivery for each game but not a single delivery fee for the bulk of items…

I think they do ship them separately if they don't have stock at their stores. I made multiple orders because I missed stuff but only part of any of my orders have shipped. Only Tokyo twilight ghost hunters which was at $5 and is a bad game but I wanted it for collective purposes.I asked my Jb hifi games guy the last time they had a decent online sale and stock is pulled from off the shelf. Some might get pulled from a warehouse but he wasn't too sure.
My Tales of Xillia 2 is showing as shipped. God of War 3 still says in progress, but then when I placed the order it said "awaiting stock" so I'm not surprised.

Edit: Exhausted stock explanation - though my order was cancelled upon being placed last night which was weird. They said I cancelled it by myself but you can't even do that ("In regard to putting through the order you have cancelled yourself…").
Only game I really wanted was Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution for $10. Might have to wait for steam sales T.T
thats the only game i wanted, put it in a seperate order to my others and it was the only one that got cancelled on me. Chose click and collect for it and it just got canceled so im guessing someone went in this morning and bought it

@watty: Went to collect my items and saw a copy and double checked with the staff member to make sure no one had bought it and he said all the click collect ones had been taken off the shelf so it might be worth going into your store and looking

mine GoW3 order says "in progress". I ordered around 7:45pm, just 1 game in the order. Hopefully get through or never mind - I really wanted its remastered edition to play on PS4

The email i did receive was confirmation of order in which the note about splitting was there
the game i had for pick up said its ready for pick up on my jbhifi account. though on their pickup info page, it said it will be unavailable to pickup unless collection email has been sent
Under my account online, stated in progress and on expansion said "ready for pick up". I hadn't received an email but went in store and my 3 items were waiting for me. The service person did comment that the had been popular today!

My order of 2 PS3 games to collect in-store has been sitting as 'In Progress' all morning. Just now it's showing as 'Completed', with both games listed as 'Picked Up'. I don't intend to go collect them until the weekend.. This is concerning, hope no one has walked out with them. Have emailed JB about it.

I bought a bunch of $1 titles around that time ago. Could have been me and a real life genuine live stock count that actually works (oh one could hope). My order is good to go except one title so fingers crossed.
