As tempting as this seems I look at the $1 games and either I already have them via Games with Gold or PS Plus or they are games that I suspect are probably pretty average at best and which I am unlikely to go back a generation to play… maybe I was just spoilt at the $3 BigW sale earlier this year or just realise how many games I purchased then which I still have never played!

But it isn't a bargain, even if its a $1, if you are just buying it for the sake of it being cheap and don't really need it… I know that is my own personal opinion but clearly from other comments in this thread people are buying up JB Hifi's surplus stock just for the sake of it and will never get around to playing these games…
I nearly did the same and initially filled up my cart with some games I already had digital copies of only to think why the hell am I buying this stuff when I already have it or will never find the time to play it. I found the will power to delete it all again from my cart. But nevermind…. go spend your dollars…

i didn't but i already owned the game, but i did somehow end up with 3 copies of Ninja Gaiden 3 which i unknowingly bought
though if you ever get the DLC if you can with this game back up your save to a USB as the The Demon Lord Belial DLC Can't glitch out and corrupt the save, or you can't get stuck at a certain point you cannot pass as the game freezes everytime you try to pass it everytime

Yeah one of the 2 orders I made got cancelled. The one with the 4 xbox 360 games was fine but the other one with the 1ps3 game is cancelled upon ordered.

I was shown a screen saying my order was placed along with the order details, but then when I checked in my orders it said cancelled in red letters under status. They didn't refund my money either. It's now pending in paypal under a "Temporary Hold" whatever that means.

I ordered a few games and have received an order confirmation for all of them except for God of War 3 (Essentials) which says Availability: Awaiting Stock.Are any of these ps3 games backwards compatible on ps4? Isn't there some new thing going on…
ps4 does not have backwards compatability.
They simply sell ps2 games for $15. You cannot use PS2 discs.

Most likely to compete with dicksmith's recent clearance sale.
Could be they had a warehouse with boxes of excess stock and it is cheaper/easier to just make a loss on them in a few hours as opposed to slowly trickling them out the door over a week or two. It also generates A LOT of good will with their customers - if everyone gets their $1 games and JB cleans out old stock everyone is happy. The cost to acquire a new customer and their details for an online store is quite expensive and this method works out cheaper. The key thing for JB though is to ship these orders and make sure everyone is happy. If they have stuffed it up though…wow watch out!

It's really weird that the games only cost 99c to deliver but the small package of ukulele strings I ordered along with them has $5 delivery.

I got Tales of Symphonia PS3, Tales of Xillia X2 PS3, Gears of War: Judgement 360, Ghost Recon Future Solder 360, Splinter Cell Blacklist 360, God of War 3 PS3 and Deception IV PS3 for a nice $40 all up. This is way better than the EB cluster____.
I already have Borderlands 2 (Glorious PC Version with DLC), Metal Gear Rising (Steam Complete Edition), Dungeon Seige 3 (360 Games with Gold), Darksiders Franchise (Steam Sales) and Castlevania (Thanks Nuuvem when they still allowed VPN's and international PayPal Addresses) so I don't need to add those games to my shelf.

Looks like all of the $1 titles have been removed (except 1). Probably going to get a cancellation notice (all were removed at the same time-not a good sign).

I was trying to click and collect some $5, they were available at several local stores then they all seemed to disappear.
But the games didn't disappear all at the same time, a few went in one go, then after a quick search for them to double-check I returned to my basket to be informed a few more of the titles I'd picked were no longer available.I managed to get one game out of ten I put in my basket! :(
