    • Adelaide and delivered… good luck on finding them boss!

  • Nothing yet (Melbourne). Hopefully they turn up today.

  • Anyone have links to the original list of markdowns? I don't remember where it was posted before.

  • phew they finally arrived , the old Pantene effect …it won't happen overnight but it will happen

  • Is it still on?

    • If you can find games instore that staff haven't put aside for the real sale date, than yeah maybe.

      • When is the real sale date? Sorry if this answer has been provided before in the comments.

        • Apparently boxing day

        • @Venom_TAG: it is over. They pulled off the shelves to fulfill online orders. Worse part is it doesn't look like they are going to refund the orders they cancelled but simply give you a discount code to end this.

        • @wtfnodeal: I said instore. And what about all the games that were not apart of the online deal? They were taken off shelves too. Its not like they are just going to hoard them in there stock room forever.

        • @Venom_TAG: when I mentioned shelves I assume you understand = the shelves in stores. No more $1 games left in stores only preowned ones they are still selling at RRP. Maybe they didn't pull them off the shelves just simply put a preowned sticker and added "2" in front of the $1 to sell it for $21 to you when you get in store ask about the $1 games.
Edit: I couldn't find any $10 or $20 on sale games in store either. The staff I spoke to said "all" pulled off the shelves to fulfill online orders. I guess even those $10 and $20 games are good prices too.

        • @wtfnodeal:

Yeah I checked again today, even I found Dragon Ball Battle of Z (not preowned) but it is not $1 or $10 anymore.

I think they have already revised all the price.

BTW I still saw Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel 360 for $10.

  • I looked up naruto revolution xbox 360 on ebay and some people have like 5 quantities selling for close to $40 per copy when they were only $10 in store. Makes me pretty angry considering it was the one title I really wanted to play when other people take 5 just to make a measly profit. Probably one of the few times I've been this salty regarding a deal lol!

    • If this was free postage would be ok price.

Wouldn't give those people a single cent. They obviously bought it with the intention to make a profit so no go for me and I hope they end up chewing on it (I know it's from JB based on the price sticker and the dragon ball Z game they are selling). I'd rather pick it up on steam which had it dropping to close to $10 AUD before (according to isthereanydeal).

  • Received my 2 games yesterday. They came from the JB Plenty Valley store rather than a warehouse. The games weren't sealed and I'm not too impressed with the condition of the covers.

    • Get a $1 refund instead?

      • The fact that one game was $1 doesn't mean I should be happy that the case was badly scuffed and had stickers half ripped off. One of the games (not $1) was to be added to a gift but the case looks like someone stood on it.

I've already had to take a trip to JB to swap over a dvd box set sent to me with the discs all loose inside (also a gift). But I suppose should have been happy with that too because I purchased it on sale.

        • I can understand your frustration if it is a gift and you need to do extra leg work to swap over for a new case instead of just wrapping it up to give away. But if you know 11/11 of my orders are cancelled then you be happy still.

  • Got my four games:

Arkham Origins (360) - $10 - I think I got a pre-owned (used) copy. Deathstroke code was used, plastic for the paper sleeve was warped, discs had small scratches.

Tales of Symphonia (PS3) - $10 - cover had shelf wear. Disc & instruction booklet was new.

DMC (360) - $1 - cardboard sleeve/cover had shelf wear. Disc & instruction booklet was new.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (360) - $1 - cover had shelf wear. Disc & instruction booklet was new, DLC code wasn't used.

Irritated that I had to go to the shop to get a refund for Arkham. Even the gaming guy said, "Yeah, that (Arkham Origins) looks pre-owned" after seeing the game cover.

The store manager wanted to exchange a pre-owned copy of Halo 4 instead, and I replied that ain't gonna happen because I don't enjoy HALO games. She wasn't happy about it and had to process the paperwork so I could get my money back.

$1 for preowned still a bargain.

      • +1

Agreed, but not on the $10 titles though. :/

        • True, especially if you had to pay more at a later date for the used codes…..

  • Still haven't received mine.

    • If not an office address properly somebody took it.

  • Did anyone get a shipped confirmation email or tracking?

    • No emails for the items that were shipped or even when 2 were ready to be collected from my local store. Had to log in to the website to see any updates

    • Only an 'confirmation of order' email.

However, if you login to JB Hi-fi, and click 'My Orders' from the drop down menu under 'My Account' then you will get 'order status' notifications: "In progress," and "shipped," or "picked up."

I did however get a premature "picked up" status, but the staff were still waiting for me to collect it when I called to make sure it hadn't gone.

  • Anyone have a spare 10% code they aren't using that hasn't expired yet? Happy to give something back in return, please pm me :) Thanks!

    • +1

I think they are expired now

      • Ah darn thanks anyway mate :)
