My large order of 12 different games (no doubles) got cancelled as well. well mostly. Amusingly my order of Tokyo ghost hunters in it got shipped and in the cancellation message my Tales of xillia 2 wasn't mentioned so I guess I'm getting that too? Interested to see how they're going to handle the refund of my gift card as I used partial GC and partial debit card.
Also it's complete BS how they're fulfilling some orders but still saying orders are being cancelled due to it being an in store only promo and yet they are fulfilling some or most orders. Just own up to it and say you don't have enough stock or at least don't lie (obviously) and say it's being cancelled for a reason that implies all orders should be cancelled when they weren't.
In Brisbane, there was a bunch of Tales of Xilia 2 Day one editions out on the shelf at lunch so maybe you might still get it.
My own Tokyo twilight order got cancelled too but I managed to pick up a store copy luckily.Yea mate it's complete bullshit. My first order which consisted of five of the $1 games and one $5 game got cancelled along with the email saying it was meant to be an in store promotion. Couple of hours later and my second order which consisted of one $5 game has now been completed/shipped.

ahahaha I am a cocky (profanity), they just cancelled all but the one they shipped which was tokyo twilight ghost hunters, the rest were $1 but strangely they didn't mention a cancellation for one other game - NBA 2k14. P.S. The neg is for reneging on the deal. Clearly a lie and, at best, very bad customer service.
Also, the legal guy talking about lodging a claim: Not sure if that is correct information. It's happened plenty of times and Dell successfully defended against a class suit where customers were trying to get them honour an online pricing error.

Is it legal to store my credit card details? If not legal, how can they refund to my credit card without asking me?
Your credit card information would remain encrypted on their severs. It would be as simple as pressing a button.
The thing is I Did not click save my credit card for future purchase on their website so it should not by any means to store my cc numbers. Am I correct?
Nope, not correct, and I already answered that question. They can issue a refund at the press of a button. No one needs to know your credit card numbers.

Unlikely mate, I think the code is directed at games only as well. I got all my orders cancelled and they didn't give me anything nor did they admit there was no stock. Held JB pretty highly up to this point really, always purchased my expensive electronics there (ipad, macbook etc.). If they decide to send me the voucher I'd just throw it on a Vita game or something.

Following up on an earlier post, my order was showing as Completed with both games 'Picked Up'. I drove down to the store last night and everything was okay. The games (PS3 Borderlands 2 and Tales of Xillia 2) were waiting behind the counter. The manager said the computers were going crazy and some orders were incorrectly showing Completed.
Not too many sale games left at Glendale NSW for those interested. I did see South Park Stick of Truth and Tales of Symphonia:Chronicles PS3 - which I'm assuming will scan at $10 if anyone is interested.

Went in store and bought a few more $1 games already mentioned, the one that surprise me is Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 360 for $1.
I found their reason for cancellation is not acceptable. If they said they have made an error causing clearance game stock in-store only appeared for a short time online for purchase they should have cancelled all online order. However some people are still getting their online order fulfilled either in full or partially. To me this is more like JB has oversold the products and can't fulfilled them and just cancel the order with that reason. Very unprofessional. Very valid ground to go to CAT and complaint
