I picked up my PS4 for $349 when Target had the 500gig bundle, no regrets picking that up, no regrets picking up the WiiU bundle "except for not playing the WiiU"

Already seen a few sold at DSE for $299 around the country during their suicide sale. I don't think these were given away below 'cost' either so only a matter of time me feels.
That was a rare occurence and only a handful of non DSE staff nationwide got it. That wasnt a normal sale price.
Hence why I said a few sold… its the first tip of the iceberg.

who knows. my money is on Ps4 dropping though. the proof is always someone has to have a cheaper price. $350 seems to be normal now and DSE already bit 299$ eventhough it was short lived and only a few got in. 299$ after chrismas on sale (with a code perhaps) is a very real likelyhood

Not true… New 500GB Consoles are CUH-1200 series.
No glossy top cover, shorter LED strip, more power efficient.
Hmm I didn't think they were making any "New" 500gb models.
All future models are 1tb as far as I knew.

There are new model 500gb and OLD model 1TB. I know, because I got an old model 1Tb from BigW. Returned it for a new one.

There are 500gb and 1tb versions of both the old and the new PS4, the size has nothing to do with whether it's the revised model.

If you followed the correct steps (clicked through to eBay from the cashrewards site) you should be credited the 3% within a few weeks or so.

Just going by this post alone.. there are plenty of people still wanting a PS4, so I don't see a slim model coming anytime next year.. add to that that 2016 is the year of VR headsets, that's where all the attention will be.. might be 'designing' a slim version next year, to take advantage of cheaper components, but wont see it till 2017 at the earliest I reckon :) ..also, with the recent news that they just opened another core on the PS4 cpu means kicking ahead of the XB1 even more.. :D

I got the darth vader limited edition ps4, it is sexy as hell. Note that it comes with a download code for a couple of old PS2 Star Wars games which will be a treat for fans.

I ordered the PS4 1TB Bundle from Target eBay 2 weeks ago and got the 1202 model. If it isn't you can always return it for free (they provide a prepaid sticker in the box).

Got a 500gb ps4 from target, it is the new version.
To the people saying "Wait til January for a better price" around this time last year I pounced on a ps4 with 3 games for $399 and ppl were saying the same thing and come Jan the prices were back up to normal. It's still probably the best deal on ps4.
Moral of the story is don't wait until Jan, the prices won't be any better.

so i do not console game! excuse my ignorance! what is the difference between the older model and the new model? if the differences are not much wouldn't it be better to just change the 500gb HDD to a 1TB HDD? i am thinking of buying one and throwing in a ssd.
