Got 3 and will leave it there. Thanks! 300 groceries for 210 :)

    • different accounts?

      • -3

        yea

        • While you're a little greedy, you've not gone anywhere near immoral status.

I can imagine a few tech savvy people now with 32 accounts 'Open new tab'bing like crazy!!!

        • Im gonna try too. Do i need diff names and addresses?

        • @rawm:

Greedy or not. Public transport is ripping a hole in my wallet… then theres the price hike :(

        • +1

          @shadow131:
          email I think

        • @camsmith86: Wahhhh. Poor Woolies and Visa. It's just less money that the ailing Woolworths group, who still aren't short of a quid, spend on stupid ads.

        • -3

@camsmith86: I see the greedy ones are also out in force negging my post. Please, do tell me which part of my post is incorrect?

        • -2

@dellbon: I don't care about Woolies but just like the 1st choice liquor deal that was ended early, I can see the same happening here. So you actually end up hurting others who have yet to take advantage of it.

        • +1

@camsmith86: Even I missed it but I need to say your logic is wrong. These will finished anytime anyway so you snooze you lose. C'est la vie

    • +2

      Only 3? Mediocre. :)

Rewards are not payable on any gift card purchases.

      Do people read?!

Be calm under pressure and the deals will come….

  • +1

    Bought 2.. thanks OP

  • Thanks OP. Will assist in the weekly grocery shop.

  • Wish these could be used at DSE :(

  • Sorry for the stupid question, but if the voucher is emailed to you, can you still use this for purchases in store?

    • yes… it will come with the full instruction on how to use it in store and/or online

    • No, when you receive your emailed Scoopon, send directly to [email protected] - I'll do the rest :P

      Real answer:

      1. Yep, wait for emailed scoopon on Jan 8th 2016
      2. When you get your email, write your PIN and eGiftbard code somewhere safe, or screenshot it on your phone
      3. Use these 2 sets of numbers (no need to lug around card/voucher as just a screenshot or piece of paper with those numbers is all thats needed) when at the point of sale
      4. Enjoy!
  • +2

Massive, ordered 2 on 2 accounts.

  • lets wait to 8th Jan to see

  • Site is down

    • Works for me!Not ozbargained yet!

  • Worked fine for me a minute ago

  • -6

This will most likely be cancelled. Minimum order should be $80 for coupon eligibility

    • +3

      $90>$80

  • Awesomeeeee. Thanks!

  • thanks

  • Can you use vouchers for this deal?

  • +3

    Thanks OP, bought one.

Thought about making another account to buy more, but noticed the T&C's says discount codes can only be used once per address. Seems like if they're going to cancel orders for any reason, the easiest ones would be those that violate the T&C's. Wouldn't want to take that risk. Not to mention it makes me feel like a bit of a broden. Will settle for one I guess, since it is still a great deal.

  • -1

    Thanks OP bought 3.

  • Thanks, bought one.

Says it will be delivered on the 8th of January to my e-mail.

  • +1

I am just loving the rate of +ve ratings this is getting. Ozbargain yearly winner, if Scoopon doesn't move to close this down tonight.

  • -3

Not worth buying more than 1 unless you use different cc cards for visa accounts, otherwise all will get cancelled.

    • -1

      Incorrect

    • Surely the same address and name would get it cancelled too.

    • They have enough to worry about with $200,000 sold in the last hour and a bit. Don't think the 1% of purchasers buying 2 or 3 will come into the equation.

  • Worked fine for me. Great post. Thanks OP

  • -3

Got my voucher emailed already even though the receipt said I had to wait til 8 Jan. Cool. Thanks OP.

    • +1

nah you can't use that one, I think.

      • -3

Pretty sure I can. "Congratulations, you've received a Scoopon from NAME ! Please find your Scoopon attached to this email."

    • +2

hehe, read the "Special Instructions in red under your voucher… "this voucher is not your woolworth wish eGift……."

      • +4

        SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

THIS VOUCHER IS NOT YOUR WOOLWORTHS WISH eGIFT CARD. YOUR ELECTRONIC WOOLWORTHS WISH eGIFT CARD WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU ON 23 DECEMBER 2015 IF YOU PURCHASED BEFORE 12PM AEDT 22/12/2015. IF YOU PURCHASED AFTER 12PM AEDT 22/12/2015 YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR WISH eGIFT CARD ON 8 JANUARY 2016.

        • -3

I literally got the voucher in an email with the exact words "Congratulations, you've received a Scoopon from NAME! Please find your Scoopon attached to this email." And in it is the gift card. Thanks though, friend.

        • +2

I literally got the same voucher in an email with the exact words,"Congratulations, you've received a Scoopon from *******! Please find your Scoopon attached to this email." Read the attachment carefully, friend.

    • Yep, cool your Jet's Corey :)
Only downside of this offer is we need to wait until Jan 8th to use.

  • +1

When I tried to check out it says you already used this coupon maximum times available but this is the first time I am using the code.

    • Fault with the site being overloaded probably - keep trying.

    • Yep greedy idiots are overloading the site, try with a different email.

  • Winning!

  • Thanks OP. Ordered one for $70

When do I get the egift Card.

    • +4

LOL. Everyone reads the bargain. Nobody reads the site that just took their money.

      • I know right… not to Mention the special instruction for 'special' people in the pdf yelling the information at you.

  • is the site down for anyone else?

edit: I wonder if they're gonna honour these?! I grabbed a few before they killed it

  • Op thank you for the Christmas present! Got one, cheers & merry xmas!

  • +2

This is great! Like the forgotten Christmas present under the tree. Thanks op.

  • -1

Using visa checkout and not giving me discount. Any ideas?

    • +1

Did you apply the coupon EARLYBIRD ?

    • Clear your cookies/cache? Different browser?

If not then, different account/email address by the sounds of it. Might be best to order only one then though, so if they cancel everyone that has multiples, you haven't done so.

    • If you recently bought the same card for $90 then it may not allow you to buy again. So better create new scoopon account.

  • Just bought one a few mins ago but needs to create a new account it never purchased the same deal before.

  • -3

Grabbed 3. Get some more later. Great way to get cheap fuel. Over the 3 deals I am up to 3.5k of gift cards. Gotta love 10% off petrol.

    • -1

Why the negs for buying a deal? I don't get it.

  • +1

    No longer available?

  • +1

    Expired

  • +1

    fark!

  • Can these be used to purchase say jbhifi gift cards are woolies?

  • -1

Sold Out - about $200,000 in loss for Scoopon assuming some were sold before this voucher was applied by users.

    • i doubt they will honour the orders. there will be a "technical difficulty" in processing them

      • -2

Lets see. I have an email stating that my "order is confirmed" and payment is taken.
Also have copy of the confirmation that scoopon will be sent after the 8th Jan.

So yeah, if they don't play ball then someone from the nice OzBargain community can write a nice template letter for us to send to the ACCC.

        • Not valid with any other offer. Good luck.

        • @wxyz234:
          Please explain

        • @ahara: read the fine print

        • @wxyz234: Thanks, very clear explanation. :/

        • @ahara:
A business offering a discount can determine who can use the code & how it is used. That is governed by the t&c of the business. We agree to those to place an order! (The ACCC would first refer you to those t&c.)

As has happened many times before, a code may be determined by the business to have been not valid for a particular purchase. Its disappointing, but use of code is up to the business to decide.

That results in the discount being withdrawn. With the discount withdrawn, the order has not been fully paid, so the order is cancelled & payment refunded. (The ACCC etc would probably consider it a pricing error, and the business does not have to sell at that price.)

At this stage we just have a confirmation that we made an order. That is not the final purchase & we certainly have not received the offered product.

Fingers crossed we will receive our eGift Cards ;-)

        • @Infidel: Someone in this thread said they already received theirs, as an attachment I think, with the notification email.

        • +1

          @realfamilyman:
You mean the one with the negs… read that. They just received the same as the rest of us - an email, a useless voucher in their account, but no eGift Card. The voucher states "this voucher is not your woolworth wish eGift……."

People make the same error each time with this type of deal.

The eGift Card email won't arrive until Jan 8th. There is no attachment, just a link in the real eGift Card email.

        • @Infidel: Ah, ok.

        • @realfamilyman:
The eGift Card email won't arrive until Jan 8th.

          That email will look like…

          Scoopon

          I paid $90 for mine :-(
But gave it another try at $70 ;-)

    • About 2000 sold (while this deal was active on Ozbargain) x $20.

As has happened before when code was used when they didn't mean it to be used, likely we will be refunded.

      • Just 2000, are you sure?
I bought one quite late and it was at around 12000 sold already.

Its $20,000 loss for each 1000 vouchers sold, so 2000 vouchers are "just" $40,000 and possibly "manageable" by scoopon.

        • +1

Seems around 3000+ during this deal. Certainly not 10,000 x $20 suggested.

14460 Sold in quite a few days.
Was selling in $90 deal on 16/12
          9716 were sold by 22/12

Date of supply (Jan 8) gives them plenty of time to cancel orders.

No business likes losing money unnecessarily, so the fine print of the offer will rule, unfortunately :-(

        • @Infidel:

Hey OP (vegimate), did you possibly notice how many were already sold when you posted this deal?

        • That includes all the ones in the last couple of weeks at 10 bucks off. 2000 tonight with the extra 20 coupon.

        • @bigspike:
I'm sure its more than 2000 tonight but yeah, prob not 10000 as I initially thought..
With approx. 7300 page hits here and maybe 5-6K unique users it may be around that number??

Only OP may know if he noticed the amount sold before he posted this deal.

        • @ahara:

about 11000 were already sold when this posted, so not that many with extra coupon

        • @ahara:
          Nearly 10,000 of total 14460 were sold by 22/12 - at $10 off $100.

        • @Infidel: OK thanks :)

  • Sold out

  • +1

Damn only got one! I fail at ozbargain. :P
