    • -3

      weebos?

  • 6% cashback from CR/S&M too

edit: can only buy one.. otherwise you get this error

Cannot purchase more than 1 of Woolworths WISH & Visa eGift Card $85 for $100 Value.

    85? lol

    • -1

That's probably their cost, payable to Woolworths. $5 profit margin.

    • +1

For CR: Rewards are not payable on any gift card purchases.

      • bummer

      • +1

        true. shopandmint it is then!

        • Pretty sure it's gonna be the same with shopandmint…no rebate on all gift cards AFAIK

        • @Droid11:

most likely.. although it doesn't seem to be stated

  • +1

Cash rewards on this one? Would be great with the Asahi cans deal at Dan murphys. bring em down to $57.30 a carton if you used cash rewards and these cards….if they can be bundled that way…

  • +3

Dont forget this deal goes live tomorrow. No limits.

    • +1

Don't forget that is for Big W only. I would love to get 10% off my groceries and petrol instead. :)

      • Use big w card to buy petrol card ?

      • +3

You can use a Big W card to purchase a Wish card or any other gift card

    • +1

Also you can pay $1 cash charge $99 on card and using PayWave to get 2% or 5% cash back.

      • $100 gift card should only cost you $90, why do you need to do $99 and $1?

  • +1

    Woohoo and cheers CVonC!

Edit: Oh well prob no cashback.

Also expiry is 2 years for anyone wondering.

  • I guess cash reward cashback offer is not valid on gift card purchase - "Rewards are not payable on any gift card purchases"

  • Available for download in 6 days

    • 7 for me D:

  • No brainer

  • Do these expire in 2 days?

    • +1

      No, 2 years:

  • Great deal!

  • Thanks OP, bought one to use for Petrol :)

  • Cheers OP.

How do we use this for petrol ?

    • +2

Buy a Caltex card from woolies using this egiftcard

      • Sweet. I should create a Scoopon account for my wife and buy another one.

        • +8

You don't even have to buy any petrol cards in my experience. The last time I bought a wish egift card, I used it for Woolies Petrol, Woolies, Masters and Big W without any issues.

All you do is tell them at the counter that you'd like to pay by egift card, and just enter in the details (card no and pin) from the egift card.

However, be warned that some Woolies petrols don't have the facility for egift card (most do). In short, if they have those Verifone terminals like they do in the supermarkets, then egift cards will work.

          They look something like this:

@montorola: Ya lot of the say no egiftcard at the pumps.. >.<

        • +2

          @Turd:

It's ok Turd, I remember you're the guy with 13 credit cards, so backup cards shouldn't be an issue for you ;) :P

Forget plan B, you've got it sorted to plan N!

        • +1
        • @montorola: the last time I bought a woolworths petrol card I used it at Masters

      • No need to do that, just tell the petrol attendant that you're paying with egiftcard. There's an option on EFT terminal to pay with egiftcard. It would be better if you could remember the 10 digit gift card number plus the 4 digit password as you don't need to carry around the print out from Scoopon (or maybe just save it as PDF on your mobile).

        • Ya lot of the say no egiftcard at the pumps.. >.<

  • Your Woolworths WISH eGift Card will be emailed to you on 23 December 2015

Do I need to print the email to use it in-store? Or will I also receive a physical plastic card?

    • +2

You'll need to print it (or view on phone) and if you use self checkout you put in the code / pin on the printout to use the e-card.

    • +3

You'll need to print it, or should just be able to show it on your phone. Can put the numbers in yourself on the self-checkout tills as well

    • Do not need to print, you can have it as a pdf or even a txt file, all you need is the instore number and pin.

    • +1

All u have to do is storing the numbers in your mobile. That's how I did anyway.

      • I normally just write the numbers down on my grocery list :P

  • wow I didn't have a Scoopon account, got one now thanks OP

  • Visa checkout pop-up appears but just shows thinking icon…..

Update: the pop up loading visa checkout didn't show anything in Chrome. Used Opera and it worked fine.

    • 2 things to get it working on Chrome: to disable AdBlock, and to allow 3rd party cookies

  • Unlike previous physical gift card deals you don't lose a sizable amount on postage fees.

  • How long do they take to get delivered? Hesitant after previous Groupon experiences

    • 6 or 7 days or more depending when you in the queue.

    • +3

Your Woolworths WISH eGift Card will be emailed to you on 23 December 2015

      • Thankyou

  • -3

I bought 8 of them and then realise there is cash back on it too.. too late for that I guess

    • You have 8 scroopon accounts? Pro-Greedy professional.

      • Got 8 email addresses.. work / business / personal

    • Cash back on discounted gift cards?

      • No see comments above

        • Didn't think so…… Hence questioning the comment about cash rewards.

        • @albanyson: Ya i dont think so too, but worth a try, only a few clicks, I remembered I ordered 5k of these cards from groupon and one of these reward things awarded me $200 or so XD

        • you bought 5k worth of gift cards?!!?!

        • @cache: Yeah last year. :)

    • +1

Do you have 8 Visa Checkout a/c's as well? Or just the one?

      • +5

you can use the same visa checkout email address over and over, just scoopon needs a different email

  • -6

What an awesome website. Can't view a login page, can't view a cart. On Firefox. No blockers.

  • -1

Thanks mate…bought one already. Visa checkout account confirmation takes about $1.39….. so, its 8% off if you do it for the first time…

    • +5

You'll get those $1.39 back. That is just an authorisation to check that your card details are valid.

p.s.: I bet they took US$ 1, just shows how low our currency has fallen…

      • Thanks for your note….its 10% then ☺

        • Your new name should be Notsodamnsmart

  • +5

Every time I see OP's name, I try to say it out loud and ALWAYS get it wrong. Am I the only one?

    Backspace, Spaceback….

    Arghhhh!

    • What do you think of when you see my name?

      • Legend comes to mind

      • Same as what we think of when we read your comments :P

        I kid I kid :)

Keeps declining my Amex when paying.

    • try a Visa

    • Same. My amex kept declining. Paid with a visa instead.

    • +1

      No AMEX for Scoopon AFAIK.

    • I could only add Visa or MasterCard.

    • Lol @ using AMEX for Visa Checkout

      Really?

  • Good Deal bought 1 too.

  • Wouldn't it be better to stack the Groupon/Entertainment Card offer (7.5%) with the 10% of Big W cards to get a total of 15.91% discount

Good luck using a big w gift card to buy a big w gift card!

      • Your not.. you are using an egift card to buy a new product which is the same as the Wish card.

People even yesterday used these same egift cards to buy Wish cards.

        • Have a read of the big w eGift card threads. People have struggled to buy gift cards with those, because it all relies on a person approving it.

For every person that uses a big w eGift card to buy another gift card, there's about 2 others that get declined.

        • +2

@Spackbace: I thought it could not be done until I read the T&Cs and realised it could be done.

But, it is interesting to note the following under their FAQ section

Can the recipient convert their egift card to a gift card.

          Answer NO.

I read through the whole section just a few days ago and that particular question was not there. It looks like this has only recently been added. Maybe there are going to tighten up on this practice.
