It can actually be used for iOS. Note the iOS mark on the side of the box.
though under specifications it states Supported Operating System Android so not sure which is correct.
Not sure why you'd bother. Only real benefit on iOS is to help prevent you going on dodgy websites by the looks of it. Not sure how that works. Maybe it makes you use their app to browse.
They have safari extensions now, but still you're unlikely to get a virus on iOS due to the closed nature of the system.

I think most people are after the free 8GB micro SD card and also as a filler item to reach $150 for the $25 discount.

Ok - so I see in the previous deal these do stack. Is there a sweet-spot of how many to get for the one phone? What I mean is, is there any point in getting more than say, two? Because if it's like antivirus, you can keep getting antivirus definitions, but they also bring out a new version of the main software every 12 months.
